  • Great version ... Always love hearing jons' voice ... Thanx for all the years of great music

  • By far inferior to the original studio-version (that is a masterpiece) but still enjoyable...

  • Awesome! Thanks for posting. Can truly say that I'm one of the many ppl who's lives were saved by the Streets album. Rest in peace Criss. And thank you!

  • @RogueWarrior74 I am one of the many! Some of my friends turned after Streets? Thought they went soft?

I will always love Streets & everything to do w/ SAVATAGE! Never 4get the Rocket Club show whe I was a kid in Tampa!

  • This off the hook!!!!!!

  • You can apply this song to Criss but it was written long before he died.

  • very true... a godlike soul ended too fast..too soon

  • I don't think his voice is too far gone here. It's torn, worn, but not gone. And it sounds especially great with the acoustic guitar! Really powerful...

  • Man i love this band. Im glad my dad introduced me to there music. Greatest band. Greatest guitarist.

R.I.P Criss Oliva. You inspired me to play guitar.

  • Criss is part of my life , my guitar . Rest in peace ..." I'll be right there , I'll never leave,All I ask is,BELIEVE ... "

  • ~Great band...Great song~*****

  • wow!!!,Jon hasn't lost his his voice! maybe if you don't know his voice you could say that....his voice is in top form.all true fans know.JON IS GOD

  • man lets be realistic,he did lost his voice

    listen carefully,

nevertheless its sad thing to know

  • hail to John and Chris...real rock heroes! thanks for your wonderful lyrics and music...we still love you

  • Wow...Jon is truly still the Mountain King...

    His emotive abilty is amazing.

  • Fuckin' goose bumps on my body!

  • I can't believe it's been over 15 years since i read the single line in Guitar magazine informing the world of Criss Oliva's tragic passing. The music world lost a monumental talent and Jon Oliva lost his baby brother. God bless the Oliva Brothers - the Lennon & McCartney of metal!

R.I.P. Criss; Jon honors you every single day.

  • Amazing!!!!!

  • love jon very much!!

  • I still remember when I saw Jon Oliva's Pain in an acoustic show in a small club in Frankfurt about two and a half years ago. They played all these graet songs from Streets. Maybe the best concert I have been to.

And Jon said that he wrote this song together with his brother but how well it also expresses the feelings about Criss having passed away. And then they played this song. I was very moving. I think I'll never forget. R.I.P. Criss

  • brought a tear to my eyes

  • its so sad. this could be about criss. greatest guitarist player. fucking drunk drivers!!!

  • In my opinion Jon along with Geoff Tate are the 2 most under appreciated vocalist ever!!!! They both have amazing and emotional vocal styles...

  • love love love jon.

  • nice version - anything new from the mt. king, even if it's a rework is always worth a listen and good for some musical therapy

  • Absolutely wonderful version. Jon is truly a mastermind

  • A beautiful version...thanks for sharing a beautiful memory...Maggie

  • That was hard to wrap my head around but nevertheless it was amazing. Quite a rework of the original but great.

  • Interesting version. I like it with the guitar. Gives a new 'flavor' to an old classic. Thank you for the post.

  • As I Always say.. jon oliva's pain is legend...adn this is live performence... its like... Damn man... Amazing... Thanx A lot man
