oh yeah forgot induction heaters need a masive power supply too, one bigger then the tank it self. tho i think you maybe on to something, that it might work i dont know? when a cheap induction heater runs over $10K and the size of the power supply. maybe try building a working version and show that. but nice idea hopefuly tech can catch up to it, if the math is truely there to use less power, not sure if it is tho
well i see a few issues, 1. yes induction heating is very fast but we are talking a lot more power too, a small one with an area of 1 square inch uses like 10KW to work. 2 an electric is 5KW for 50 gal. so would need to see some facts on that. 2. induction heating only heats metals not water so the water has to be in contact with the metal somewhere or it will not work. 3 what ever metal that is heated will oxidize from the water on 1 side and air on the other. nice idea but need more facts
First what you wanted to say is "Nothing is more efficient than a heating resistor." And second, that is not true, induction heating is much more efficient in fact double as effciient and safer. Have you seen the newest kitchen technologies?
