I went to Elephant Nature Park in Oct/Nov2008, It's 75 min outside Chaing Mai City in Thailand. The Park has overnight stays up to 4 days, weeky stays for volunteers, day drips that depart from the Park Main office location in Chaing Mai. If you go to Thailand, you have to go here. It shows how elephants were meant to be treated well by people, a sanctuary. Many elephants there are rescues from deaths door due to the tourist trades, abuse, illegal logging. It's PEACE & LOVE, life changing.
No dogs "eaten" at this place. In fact, it is a sanctuary for dogs & cats as well as other animals & of course elephants. If you had dog on your menu, you chose the wrong place to eat.
