Hardly. Sony was hard to develop for even during the PS2 days, and Lanning became increasingly frustrated with them. Micro$oft welcomed all developers with open arms and a lovely "work-with-you attitude", which allowed a lot of series to eventually jump ship or at least cross-platform.

Plus, M$ threw a lot of money out there to get devs to come in too.

@NeoSquirrel Ha, yeah right; he probably made MO for the Xbox because the Xbox is more powerful and would be easier to work with. Plus, MO on ps2 wasn't the first (or last) project he's scrapped, so it's not like it's some shocking event, tohugh I would have loved to see it hit the shelves.
