A kinda nerdy guy usually wont be an ass to you because he knows what that feels like-they tend to have a smaller ego, not infected and swollen and dripping with pus like some guys (there are always exceptions of course) and it's nice to be able to talk about internet-y things and video games and and such without being given a look like WTF.

Well, the big black glasses are the first thing I notice. Mostly because I wear them too. The test I would do to see if he's a "cool" nerd would be what type of music he listens to and what kind of places he likes to go and what type of movies he likes to watch. If he doesn't listen to mainstream music, likes going to the park and museum, and likes old movies, he's pretty awesome in my book. :D

I dunno... the guy I've liked for years is what others might call nerdy. Yes, the typical nerdy appearance is very appealing to me. But mostly, what attracts me most about nerds, is the intelligence. Different nerds have different specialities of intelligence and topics they find interesting. And I love it when someone knows a lot about something, no matter what it is. And that is why I find nerdy guys and girls attractive.
