  • muito bom!!!

  • Eric Clapton is still alive. i would argue that he can currently play circles around Stevie Ray Vaughan (RIP).

  • when i saw this on PBS I thought..man not another Hendrix wannabe...Man was I ever wrong...this guy can play....

  • look at the audience...they know they are seeing something truly special :-)

  • THIS IS HOW ITS DONE, KIDS. WATCH AND LEARN.

  • look at drummer in the beginning of a video....LOL

  • Kicking Saturday - Nothing Sweeter Than Stevie Ray Vaughan

  • man, to this day 03:13 just kills me; one of those feels you can't explain...not even gonna try. There's something about the space he allows the notes, where he comes in with the notes, the hit of Tommy Shannons' bass...BLUES MAGIC!!!!!

  • @yellowbookjones you can't teach that. Someone is born with it to feel and hit it that way.

  • The sound that you are listening is not the sound of his guitar...it's the sound of his soul...

  • Que público de mierda realmente.

sentados mirando duros como fumador de paco.

    0 onda :S

  • @enanius11 Para escuchar a Stevie no hay que estar a los saltos y gritando, y menos en una cancion como esta donde cada nota debe ser interpretada con mucha atencion como lo hacia el publico.

    We miss you Stevie. RIP

  • how could someone actually dislike stevie ray vaughn.....what a complete retard

  • Stevie was ; is one of he best blues players ever seen!!!

  • Stevie was hittin on all cylinders this night. Lucky people.

  • Notice the drummer not paying attention at the very beginning, and then bam, doesn't miss the beat

  • i think theres a conspiracy keeping kids from hearing this music and turning them into pop fans. lets overthrow the system so all our kids can live life without having to think that lil wayne, and justin beiber and lady gag are actually musicians. show them that music could still KICK FUCKIN ASSSS

  • Stevie you are the best , R.I.P.

  • Haha! I cant believe its even possible to make a guitar scream like that! There are a few ppl that can play his songs, but there will never be a combination of guitar and man that can induce this kind of power!

  • no elmocombo is better

  • as a humble guitarist taste is purley subjective

  • Oh Yeah!!!!!!! Stevie Ray is talking to me these days.

  • Stevie can play the guitar behind his back better than Eric Clapton can play the guitar in front of himself !!!!!!!! :-) Thumbs up if you agree.

  • @carlosdevadip dude playing blues is not about plying the guitar behind the back. you have to feel the blues. eric clapton and SRV have feelings for it. that means they are both very good. basically what im saying is TALENT IS NOT ENOUGH.

  • @carlosdevadip Don't compare Eric Clapton with Stevie Ray, because they are both gods! They only had diferents styles.

and sory if I wrotte somthing wrong, I don't know much english ;$

  • @carlosdevadip Obviously you & 31 others have never seen nor heard Clapton play other than billboard top 10!!! ANY guitar player that plays w/o busting a move like here, IS amazingly awesome in the world of Blues!! (and other)

  • @carlosdevadip I don't think so. Both are GODS of guitar, one (Stevie) is pure blues feeling, and Eric is the master of phrasing and composing songs. I LOVE BOTH, THEY'RE MY IDOLS (OBVIOUSLY together with Hendrix, John Mayer, ecc...)

  • @carlosdevadip Eric did some of his shows high though...

  • Kick ass guitarist man

  • sweeter than honey

  • This guy is awesome!

  • cocaine is a hell of a drug!! but damn did it make his blues sound perfect!! 0 dislikes cause srv is the shit!!

  • u can really see how drugs made him play with more conviction. Awesome

  • I'm not really a huge blues fan. I'm actually not really into SRV when the horns came in. But this is unreal. This Austin show is mesmerizing.

  • Wow! wish he was still here..

  • 7:04 BEHIND HIS FUCKIN BACK!!!!!!!!!!!

  • What gets me every time is that SRV thought he couldnt sing. Just did it out of necessity.

I mean ...he definately tore up that guitar, but I think his singing was damn near as good as his playing.

  • LoL not only can hey play like the guitar God he is, but he does it while chewing gum. Watch closely.

  • lol the number of times Ive watched this and never picked up on Chris @ the start.. Gold!

  • stevie playing ind god mode!

  • i love you Stevie!!

  • bendgasm.

  • R.I.P. My Friend!

  • I get goosebumps every time he starts out on the first verse's line!

  • As Tina say : simply the best

  • stevieeeee wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwoooooooooooooooooooooooowwwwwwwww!!!!!!! so fine boy

  • amazing, simply amazing

  • 7:04-7:53 were absolutely amazing... and nothing more can be said

    R.I.P. Stevie Ray Vaughan

  • I Really have always though stevie sounded so much better whithout a keyboardist or piano.Hes so much rawer like this almost grunge but he definatley sounds his best like this to me.

  • How you like that quick "Oh shit Stevie started the song" look on Chris' face at the very beginning of the song.

    Good save Chris.

God bless you Stevie Ray, there will truly never be another like you.

  • @pillionaire07 thats hilarious!!! i have this dvd and ive never noticed that, at least stevie started it off slow unlike mocambo here hahaha

  • I have to say that... theres no band like Double Trouble.... theres no blues like Stevie's Blues... he's the best

  • He was truly born to play the blues, and nothing else

  • One of the greatest guitarists ever known to man. We miss you Stevie! R.I.P!

  • i love all of his work but this show he was on with everything he did.

  • stevie one of the best

  • @haloisland

Without a doubt he's the best guitarist ever. tell me someone that can play that instrument better than him and i'll give u all my money.

  • @ninjahottie

with all do respect! stevie is without a doubt legendary but there are a FEW others that could give him a good run.

  • @sarmiento2008 Bullshit, nobody could ever play circles around Stevie, he was and still is the best, period, the guy was born to rock the world with that Stratocaster, a god of guitar and an icon no matter what anybody says.

  • @sarmiento2008 NOONE can touch stevie . . . There aren't a FEW that can play like him: The speed, grit, power, string gauge, soul, BEHIND-THE-BACK GUITAR PLAYING !!! He played w/ more power/soul behind his back then other guitarists did regurally !! Stevie will alway's be untouchable.

  • man i even think this version is better than the Mocambo version, Stevie really gives every single not his time and affection in this one. really scorchin version

  • @z3dSd3d I really love that first turn around he did in El Macambo, but I agree with you. It's a blistering performance!

  • @z3dSd3d at El Macumbo he had raw fingers, they were practically down to the meat. here in austin he was fingers were in good health.

  • @z3dSd3d ehhh..... There are things about that I love about El Mocambo, and things I love about this performance...

  • @z3dSd3d You can't compare this to El Mocambo. El Mocambo was a 9 minute orgasmic explosion the likes of which will never be reproduced. I'm not saying I dislike this version, hell no, Stevie still tears it up for sure. And I suppose you can like this one better if you want. But I just don't know why you'd want to. There's really no comparison.

  • this is the shit yay

  • Holy Trinity

Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Robert Johnson. RIP!

  • @magnum9987 Lol, Eric Clapton RIP? I sure hope we still got at least few more years left of him. 0.o

  • i miss u Stevie Ray =(
