I live on st james street.. the street at the bottom, and i walk up Gold Hill literally every day to get my bus to school and we had loads of days off because it was soo hard to walk up as the sledging polished the surface so nicely (;

@Good2320 I was one of the first to sledge down and the biggest danger was actually smashing into the railings as i did and shattered my phone :L .. Not Cool x

Hi

This is a cobbled hill known as Gold Hill from the Hovis Adverts. Cars don't often come up it. The hill goes round a bend half way down, there is a road (minor B road), at the bottom around another bend. It is quite safe really, and the people sledging had a great time.

Bring on more snow.

cars dont usally go up there unless they live there

like my granny but its easy too hit yourself on one of the parked

cars me and my friends do that every year
