  • Kobe is one of the greats, but the more points he scores in the All Star game, the worse he gets. The more points he scores when his team loses, the worse he gets. Greatness isn't measured by stats, it is measured by leadership and the mountains that are overcome. Jordan, however, was and is the greatest.

  • I never really thought there was a comparison to make.

    Chalk and cheese.

  • If you don't want to be compared then you should not try so hard to emulate Jordan's moves, walk, mannerisms down to wearing your arm band on your elbow, fist pumps even sticking out your tongue when you talk. Be your own man..Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery but come on..really? Every part of Kobe's game is a cheaper version of Jordan and he knows it..

  • jordan played when there was no zone he could just drive the lane and take people 1v1 kobe has to deal with double teams and the inabillity to drive the lane as frequent. So what did he do? He adjusted his game to mid range and destroyed opponents even when he was double teamed. KB24 is the best ever.

  • Kobe Bryant is the most ambitious player in the basketball

  • At 2:07 its like a mythical creature walking away.....all i can say is im blessed to have seen this man live......in my main years....I.E 13 to 18.

  • @highman58 I once got in line for soda in a cafeteria... right behind both Pippen and Jordan. They were such polite, soft-spoken men back then, despite their fame and accomplishments in sports.

  • kobe will never be jordan

  • Can't help comparing Kobe against the best *Cough*

  • @Skiiiiirt

    true. jordan is the best

  • paulo002.hubpages.com/hub/JordanvsKobe

Check that website, you'll find it interesting.

  • jordan didn't have to debate

  • Only the media compares every great Player with Jordan, but there is just one MJ, Pippen, Barkley, Hakeem, Shaq........and also Bryant!

  • Wens the mix for this coming out???

  • thx Econ1260MetZRobert,,,, ;)

  • whats the name of the song :D?

  • @ballcontrol solomon vandy blood diamond!

  • This video was absolutely ruined when you mispelled MICHAEL.....gewd jawb spelin ayce

  • This video is the next....

  • Kobe at 0:26 - "God damnit, fuck these motha fuckers!" LOL

  • first of all u cant compare two players from two different era's theres was maybe 3 or 4 other decent shooting guards back in jordans era and the game back then was way faster so they averaged around 28 more possesions than the the nba averages now if u take jordan from back then and let him play now he wouldnt do as well because of the skill set the nba now has but if u take kobe and put him in jordans era he would do the exact same thing if not.. better.. WAY better.

  • @tcreer1 Every other fucking shooting guard looked decent compared to his Airness. Hell you'd think Drazen Petrovic is a fucking stat whore playing in jersey and getting 20ppg with sweet shooting. IMO the possessions are questionable, however there were better defenders then on perimeter and in the paint and had more physical rules that Kobe never ever got used to while Jordan for the first half of his career got beat up facing them.

  • wow that was sick

  • you spelled "Michael" wrong.....fail

  • im just glad lebron is not in this argument...

  • Kobe: better at shooting

    MJ: better at everything else

  • i like

  • What's the name of the song?

  • My 2 cents on this?

Kobe is a among the greatest but MK IS the 1st among the greatest.

In my opinion Kobe has the moves and all but MJ has the moves and

  • Is Danny Archer smuggling diamonds somewhere in this video

  • I guess yall didnt read the name of the video...STOP THE COMPARISON.

  • @Arthur122293 dude comment of the week

  • First of all Kobe is one of the greatest, But Michael is the greatest player who ever played the game.

Jordan became pro when Kobe was College. And second of All Michael Got the hall of fame.

And Third Michael Played the game nearly of his own. Trust me you cant compare a Fan to a Legend.

  • @ProudToBePinoy185 LMAO ...... I'm not getting on here to argue about who is best, but i do have a question for you! LMAO ... Michael Jordan's Rookie Season in the NBA was 1984-1985! Kobe Bryant's Rookie Season in the NBA was 1996-1997, and he was drafted STRAIGHT OUT OF HIGH SCHOOL ..... with that being said: How in the hell was Kobe Bryant in college (when Michael Jordan went Pro) when he was only 6 years old? LMAO ... what type of calendars do you use? LOL

  • @ProudToBePinoy185 kobe came straight from highschool...and kobe scored 81 pts in one game has mj?

  • @domo2icey So you mean by now he should have accomplished more than Jordan at this time, right? since he has been playing more than MJ at this point..... ok. thats what i thought...

  • @domo2icey

Sure in 1 game -.-... tell me how many time has MJ broke the record.

MJ lead Bulls 6 Finals And Won it. MJ Lead The Bulls to 70 Wins in who knows how many seasons.

Even Kobe Admit that MJ IS THE GREATEST PLAYER WHO EVER PLAYED THE GAME.

MJ is the 1 who completely Change the game. And many players including Kobe tries be like Him.

MJ is already in his 50s but let me tell you something.

If MJ plays again HE WILL DOMINATE!

  • @domo2icey

    Oh And hey.

MJ is the Oldest MVP in NBA History.

  • media overhypes mj..period ..watch lebron will do the same ..to be honest fans votes are just for show..the media picks..just like they overhype lebron..

  • @jrrussell29

MJ was not over-hyped. Pre-retirement, he consistently scored over 34 points per game, and had 55% of field goals. 174 out of 179 games he scored over 20 pts (which means only 5 times he scored under 20 then.)

Stats show that the AVERAGE game for Jordan is actually an "on fire" game for basketball players like Kobe.

That honestly isn't over-hype. You'll be hard-pressed to find an NBA player that consistently put up that kind of performance.

  • your info is alllie go look it up dude

  • @jrrussell29

I looked it up. I made an era with the field-goals, but my point remains: Jordan's performance was incredible.

I actually looked at a game log (stats of every game Jordan has ever played, including field goals). Hype does not make that up.

Seriously, his CAREER play off average is 33.4 points per game. Pre-retirement, the average was even higher! Did you even SEE how long Jordan averaged above 50% field goals? Hype does not make that up.

  • @jrrussell29

Did you even see Jordan's play off stats? The BIGGEST seperation between Jordan and Kobe is made clear.

  • @jrrussell29

I made a field goals era, but it was still above 50%. And yes, during play offs he consistently scored over 34 points per game. AVERAGE is pre-retirement playoffs scoring... no I will do it for you.

    35.24 pts per game!

That's correct. Before Jordan retired, he averaged 35 points per game during the playoffs! Now tell me that is hype! Tell me that is "made up!"

  • @itsokayright not only that, but the little things in terms of character. Jordan in key playoff games, 95% of the time will play with this kind of fiery intensity that you have to top or you KNOW you will lose playing against him. Even more so before his fully assembled cast where he played great perimeter defense AND weakside defense against people who liked to drive. Kobe in key playoff games shows about 60% of it. Nothing against his volume scoring against crappy defenses.

  • @jrrussell29 Lebron is still the best in the league next to dwight howard...he deserves the hype

  • @dnttalktomeh Lebron was in the league how long now like 8 seasons without a ring he sucks under pressure

that makes him a bad player

  • @AmirS201 Rings are a team achievement....Kobe played worse in the playoffs this year than lebron....u lose

  • @dnttalktomeh this years playoffs, agreed. But if Lebron played with Kobe's knees, he would have played much worse than Kobe. Every other year Kobe has been the best.

  • @shootinggguard9 Every other year kobe has not been the best....Every year kobe has played there was always someone more efficient than him.....

  • @dnttalktomeh

Maybe there was someone more efficient than him, but how far did that guy go in the playoffs? Second round or conference finals? ....

  • @shootinggguard9 Advancing to the playoffs is a team achievement.....u lose

  • @dnttalktomeh

and how do you make a good team? with stars

  • @shootinggguard9 The mavericks had only 1 all star the lakers had 2.....u lose

  • @dnttalktomeh

this has nothing to do with the case ... SMH

  • @shootinggguard9 u said u make a good team with stars but the mavericks have 1 and the lakers have 2...u lose

  • @dnttalktomeh and you are implying the NBA then and now aren't driven by certain performances of a few elite individuals?

  • @newagepun Nope driven by the performance of an entire organization.....if one man fails at his role the team doesnt win...u lose

  • @dnttalktomeh If that is the case then who has won playoffs without major stars in the past 10 years? Oh yes, the Pistons.

  • @newagepun Most nba players are only considered "Stars" because their roles are to score e.g Carmelo Anthony...and even if they are quite ineffective at scoring (Barely shooting over 46%) they are still praised because they avg 28 ppg....u lose

  • @dnttalktomeh what? They MAKE that distinction because their talent and skill rise above those of the normal. The Pistons didn't have any individual volume scorers but behaved more like a cohesive unit. Praised by whom? Their teammates? the media? Praises don't win championships last I heard. But what I can say for someone who keeps mentioning about losing ;)

  • @newagepun Ummm....I must have misinterpreted what you said...i completely agree.....do you actually believe kobe is more productive than lebron....Lebron beats him in the regualr season and in the playoffs individually....lebron is better

  • @dnttalktomeh and the regular season matters how? Kobe's got rings to go with his performances with his star studded cast. He's got multiple ways to score. When defenses slack on him, he makes them pay.

Lebron padded stats in the regular season with 2 other stars and buckled under pressure and stopped playing like he cared when he opened his mouth against the other team. This did not just happen last season, but even before.

  • @newagepun Put the regular season aside....Lebron PLAYED Better in the playoffs for his career so far than kobe ever did.....u lose

  • @dnttalktomeh what an idiot

  • @AmirS201 and that is what many lebron-hypers or lebron-gaggers NEVER accept. If he is what they crown his ass to be, then why aren't they paid their patience and virtue with their heir apparent dumping 30 point games and being unstoppable when he NEEDS TO BE? And to think he's been given the breaks and gives the same lame excuses even after he's now given his personal 'Dream Team'.

  • @domo2icey mj LEADS his teams to 6 finals. Kobe LEADS 1 team to the finals. (Pau won the 2010 finals, Kobe almost shot the lakers out of it)

  • Comment removed

  • btw i forgott to say mj had 3 hall of famers on his team..

  • your making your mj dickk riders look stupid dude..seriously?how old are u ? ur just getn brain washed by these ppl who dont even watch basketball

  • Jordan is no kobe, Kobe is no Jordan, But Kobe is better Kobe plays in a league with more then 10-20 Stars Jordan played against people that weren't as atheltic as the ones today, There was no LeBron James, No Chris Paul, No Paul Pierce, No Dwayne Wade, No Chris Bosh No, Ray Allen No, Pau Gasol, No, Andrew Bynum, No Dirk, No Blake Griffin No, Derrick Rose, No Steve Nash, Kevin Durant, Carmelo Anthony, Amare Studamire, Gilbert Arenas, Carlos Boozer In jordans area if there was trouble would b.

  • @LiveWweStreams you mentioned carlose boozer therefore your comment is not valid

  • @jwellman5150 carlos*

  • @LiveWweStreams what? in jordan's era they got stockton, malone, bird, magic johnson, mark price, clyde drexler, c. barkley, ewing, s. kemp, payton, dumars, i. thomas, j. worthy, r. parish, olajuwon, davidson, doc rivers, m. malone, rodman, theyre all athletic and played harder than today!

  • @earldiddy83 They wouldn't stand a chance of todays game.

  • @LiveWweStreams youre right they'll all be fouled out right away of todays game

  • Comparisons!!! We All know Jordan always be/was better than Kobe, for many reasons

  • Kobe just picked up michael's style of game. that's why people compare the two.

  • A lot of people say kobe needed shaq and michael needed pippen but where is Phil Jackson is one of the bes coach in the ligue

  • Kobe is no Michael Jordan. Stop The Comparisons.

  • Comment removed

  • @awubinski Stop The Comparisons

  • one time i was one on one with Kobe and he said "I'm gonna dunk on yo ass right now!" and I said "do it" then he went up and I punched him right in the balls and he fell to the ground crying. And it was cool bcuz the referee called an offensive foul on him and ejected him and my team won the game.

  • Go Kobe, everyday is your birthday

  • when it was all kobe, and shaq had to leave to miami lakers were always beaten by the suns in the 1st and 2nd round of the playoffs. kobe needed not just a supporting cast, he needs a reliable cast.

  • Jordn needed pippen.. kobe needs gasol, bynum (one of the leagues best center, odom (best sixth man), artest (best one on one defender) and still cant get it done, arguement over! btw Kob's would be at 2 rings without the big shamrock Shaq daddy.

  • @myaddy714 What the Fuck are you talking about so Jordan and Pippen played 2 against 5? No dumb ass Jordan needed Steve Kerr (one of the best shooters of all time) Dennis Rodman( Averaged 17 rpg Best rebounder of all time) Tony Kukoc(One of the best international player of that era) Horace Grant (great defensice center) Ron Harper( Stud) to win... How old are you>? I hope your not older that 18 cause if you are you are a retard and if younger than 18 then you are still a retard..retard

  • @a36rod i agree. jordan had a perfect roster.

  • @a36rod MJS THE BEST KOBE SUCKS NOW SHUT UP HE IS THE GREATEST YES HE IS

  • @a36rod The first 3 was only Mj and Pippen. The other 3 was the best team ever... in your words! 72-10 record.

And of course, Mj have help, but he was all the time the number 1 star in the team, kobe not. Shaq was the big star in that Lakers team.

  • @JIX9ISLER1986 yes! its weak and irritating to watch if a ballhuging player missed a lot of shots...

  • @movalcadillac if Kobe has lack of supporting cast...why had shaq, gasol, odom, bynum, artest, malone, fox and etc. you know what, Kobe is always in good position...why Lebron in his cleveland day, he don't have a great supporting cast, but still he can put a big numbers and shoot 50%...Kobe is slow player, he can't easily penetrate b'coz his slow...just search the stats of Kobe and you will see it why he can't chase and never be perfected...

  • nobody will be like or better than michael jordan

  • what is the name of the music in the background? sounds similar to the hotel rwando music...

  • you spelled michael wrong

  • @mtrx3388 That's the way his name is spelled

  • Kobe can't chase and never get the perfection cause he missed a lot of shots!!! bwahahaha!!!

  • @kenelyn1000 Yeah cuz he is forced to take more shots since his team wasn't as supporting as Jordan's was. Plus Kobe kind of made like 4 times as many 3 pointers as Jordan as well, it wasn't all easy dunks and fastbreaks setup due to steals by Scottie Pippen, like Jordan had

  • @kenelyn1000 weak every player misses a lot of shots

  • Stop The Comparisons please. Jordan played in a much tougher era than me. I play with pussies.

    "Kobe Byrant"

Cmon guys. If Jordan would play in his best time TODAY he would make 80 Points per game.

  • Every sport has 4 groups of players or will have at some point!

First you have the regular athletes you don't really talk about.

Second you have the great players of today who stands out from the rest like Kobe and Lebron.

Third you have the legends of the game like Magic, Bird, Dr.J etc...

Finally you have the one guy who changed the game who stands above all like Michael Jordan. The one man can come around more than once I believe. I think maybe Wilt Chamberlain was the one before MJ!

  • @Megatroll

Whereas I agree with you that Michael Jordan was a whole level, a whole plateau, infront of Kobe Bryant but Kobe Bryant getting laughed at? That's just...wow. I understand if you don't like him, he's the most hated person in sports but saying he isn't a good basketball player is wrong.

  • He's MJ

  • :21 how dare you misspell Michael Jordan.

  • if the bulls were in the west in the 90's i promise u they wouldnt have a 70 game season

  • @crj19851985 that makes no sense, since u play every team during the season. it's only during the finals when they are divided till the finals

  • Rapist.

  • i am football fan but comparing bryant to jordan is a fucking Joke!!!!!!!!!

  • 0:34 it looked like Micheal kicked the number 3 guy

  • There's a lot of Lebron fans in here huh? hating on Kobe.

  • i really wish he didnt change his number kinda made people buy more into it

  • 80-90's Basketball BEST BASKETBALL EVER ....

  • dunk champ, rookie of the year,10 scoring titles,6 championships,5 league mvps,6 finals mvps, defensive player of the year, all defefesive team 9 times, man I'm gettin tired what comparisons to anyone.

  • "The debate will go on forever" ??? No there is no "DEBATE"....Michale Jordan... is the greatest basketball player to ever live......Kobe is in the top 5 and, that is being generous.

  • Comment removed

  • why is this garbage compared to MJ? the greatest of all time?? kobe bryant = fake 2008 mvp

and fake 2010 finals mvp... i dont see another 1 nba championship coming , 4 regular season mvp's, 4 finals mvp's, 8 scoring titles and 1 defensive players of the year for this garbage. this garbage is so selfish that he leads the league in field goal attempts yet hes scoring less points than other players? just keep dreaming kobe like your mj coz you will never be..eKOBE = mj(made in china) wahaha lmao

  • @TheLollipopsound garbage? kobe has accomplished more than 80 PERCENT of current hall of famers..and is only 32 years old but thats garbage???????????

  • fuck kobe

  • top 10 players of all time

1.jordan 2. wilt chamberlain 3. magic 4. bird 5. kareem abdul jabbar 6. bill russell 7. kobe bryant 8. oscar robertson 9. tim duncan 10 hakeem olajuwan

  • The only people who think Wilt is better than MJ are little 12 yr olds who saw his stats and were like OH MY GOD!!! he is amazing.

  • It's fucking retarded to say Wilt Chamberlain is better than Jordan. He was a 7ft 1 black guy playing against 4 ft scrawny white dudes. Obviously he is going to get 50 pts a game and 30 something rebounds. Wilt isn't even in top 5 for me.

  • Your both the same.

  • Best perimeter players of all-time, in order:

    1. MJ

    2. Kobe

    3. Magic

    4. Bird

    5. Jerry West

  • Comment removed

  • @RedVans24 A) I said PERIMETER players. I don't group interior w/ perimeter players. It makes for a pointless argument.; B) Kobe is my favorite player of all-time, and I have not missed a single Laker game in almost 15 years; Michael Jordan is slightly better than Kobe, for dozens of reasons. Talent-wise, Kobe is his equal, and an argument can be made that he had more talent (offensively), but Jordan's defense, killer-instinct, statistics and accomplishments put him ahead of Kobe.

  • @zzatikyan First, I acknowledge you are the only non-biased Kobe fan I have seen here. You are clear, MJ = GOAT. As for the greatest Laker of all time, I believe Magic is...Kobe is more skilled than him, but to me, Magic is the prototype of team player, he was the soul of that team. As for your perimeter players list, I must say that the less physically gifted was Larry Bird, but he was for sure the smartest one. On that list only one mimicked and idolized another list member, Kobe (no mock)

  • @extraTIGER With all due respect, brother, Jordan mimicked many of the greats before him. It's ludicrous to imply that ANY player simply "fabricated" from thin air their own style. Everyone learns from those who came before them. Jordan even acknowledged he learned from David Thompson and Jerry West. Plus, if you're gonna mimic someone, Jordan's a pretty good guy to choose. Anyways. Peace.

  • @zzatikyan "pretty good guy to choose " ...? That is a pretty good story, lol !!

So ... you mean LEARNING = MIMICKING ? , wow !!!, I think you are talking about Kobe.

As far as we all know, MJ mimicked himself while being inspired by others.

Unique style babe !!, never seen before ... MJ .

  • @extraTIGER Ok, buddy. Whatever you say.

  • yall dont even make sense man. i swear most of yall just started watching ball

  • What debate? Kobe will never beat MJ.

  • You say in the video "The debate will go on forever..."

    Which debate, please???

There has never been a "debate", just ignorant little kids saying their favourite player is the best ever, just like it was in the 80s and 90s. Fact is: In 20 years from now, people will not care about Bryant or James anymore and little kids will have new heroes and AGAIN compare them to Michael Jordan.

It's nothing new. Has always been this way.

That being said, BOTH are not even in a league with Bird and Magic.

  • @megatroll Kobe is better than both magic and bird.

  • @Dkenair2

Hehe, you must have smirked while typing this, right?

This con artist is not even to mention in one sentence with Bird, nor Magic. I'd say he's not even in a league with Karl Malone. Keep living in your dream world kid.

  • @megatroll what the heck are you smoking lol at the end of the day he will be the second greatest 2 guard of all time

  • @iamdaillest24

    Who told you that? ESPN?

Don't make me laugh. Bryant had a nice little ego run from 03 to 07, when the Lakers didn't really achieve anything remarkable. He ballhogged and played for the camera. The rest of his carreer he spent as 2nd fiddle to the big man. Look at the Lakers off/def win shares since Gasol joined:

    Gasol: 9.8/4.2 , 6.8/4.2 , 10.0/4.7

    Bryant: 8.6/4.0 , 5.4/4.0 , 6.8/3.5

And I don't need to roll up the time with Shaq. 2nd greatest guard? Don't be silly.

  • @Dkenair2 As a die hard Laker and Magic fan, I can say with certainty, watching both, that Kobe has surpassed Magic; and it's not just the five rings.

  • @megatroll I am sorry but I would have to say that Wilt Chamberlain is the best to ever play in the NBA...

  • @TheVikings2823

    That is actually an argument.

Wilt is the only player in NBA history to rival MJ.

But you have to evaluate them differently. Wilt played in a time when the NBA was still young. No 3pt line, rather sketchy defense *cough*, while MJ played in the undisputedly toughest, most physically demanding defensive era the NBA has ever seen. But I rate them both equally.

  • @megatroll Yes I agree but I don't think that Michael Jordan would have been a factor during Wilt Chamberlains era and Vice versa Wilt Chamberlain probably wouldn't be a factor during MJ's era so yes I would rate them fairly equally but I still think that Wilt Chamberlain has a slight edge over MJ...

  • @megatroll jordan was the first of his kind so he was deemed the goat first, kobe may not be clearly better then him but reaching that level isnt out of reach until he retires and kobe in my opinion(the one thats just as valid as yours is better then magic and bird and lebrons a 10 times better athlete then bird or magic give him time. not to prove to you hes better, but to atleast reach his full potential.

  • @2011c

Just spare me with your nonsense please.

See, I follow the NBA since the 80s and I will still be here when you're taking your kids to soccer training. I'm tired of you delusional children. Let me tell you both James and Bryant could not possibly reach the level of Larry Bird or Magic Johnson. James may be a great athlete due to his genetics, but in terms of playing qualities, they're worlds apart.

Not even to mention the GOAT.

  • @megatroll Is that why the Buss family already regards Kobe Bryant as "The Greatest Laker of All Time?" It's understandable for you to idolize Magic and Larry since you claim to have watched them in that time. You were once a little kid idolizing these two as well, the fact of the matter is that the game evolved with Michael Jordan and players like Kobe Bryant will in fact surpass your beloved Magic and Larry in the near future. The times have changed old man..

  • @mrguapo89

    Typical childrens statement.

Not even going to discuss with you, as you've already shown your juvenile mind state. Just to make sure I follow and play basketball for a long time now. I've seen legends come and go. And I will still be around when YOU drive your kids to school.

And I'm telling you Kobe Bryant was never, isn't, and will never be in one league with Bird or Magic. It's not even a question. YOu kids automatically assume all players of today are better than 20 years ago. :)

  • @megatroll Who do you think you are calling everyone a child? your just a troll just like your username implies. Who are you to say Kobe isn't what all the PROFESSIONALS say he is? Here you are calling everyone a child, when in reality your acting like a stubborn child unable to hold a legitimate discussion because you want to be right when the fact of the matter is that your two heroes have said player like Michael and Kobe are the greats. This isn't the 80's anymore the game has evolved..

  • @megatroll /watch?v=u69SCU79_O0 enjoy :)

  • @mrguapo89

See, it is not point in a bunch of puppets sitting in a TV show stating their opinions. FACTS > OPINIONS. Learn this! Not only for sports, but for your life in general. I repeat: FACTS > OPINIONS. Don't base your views on the media, on others statements, or hype. Judge from facts that prove claims!

One last time, to make sure u get it: FACTS > OPINIONS.

So kid... what did you learn today about the relation of facts VS. opinions?

This lesson was free. No need to thank me. :)

  • @megatroll You want some facts? Gladly :) Highest Scoring Laker: Kobe Bryant, Number of NBA Rings: Kobe 5, Magic 5, Olympic Gold Medals: Kobe Bryant 1 Magic Johnson 1, NBA All Star Game MVP: Kobe Bryant: 4 Magic Johnson: 2, All Defense Team Appearences, Kobe Bryant:9 Magic Johnson:0 Shall I go on..? Or is this all opinionated as well? ;D

  • @mrguapo89

    All you listed were achievements.

Robert Horry has more rings than Michael Jordan, does it make him better?

You're nothing but a fool and will always be. Magic's career avg. is higher in everything except Bryant makes 1 point more, which can be explained to todays dull defense and will eventually sink below Magic's during his last seasons.

I can't even comprehend how your perception of the sport must be.

You live in your own world.

  • @megatroll kobe not going to be remembered 10 years from now? are you serious? kobe is already being called the greatest LAKER of all time.. kobe is basically the jordan of the 2000-2010 decade. not saying he's as great as jordan but he's the jordan of the decade and the first kobe bryant. i mean don't just say that about kobe.. people need to realize that they are watching a legend in kobe bryant and appreciate him while he's here because the league MAY NOT never see another player like him.

  • @RoCxJetson

Bryant had a a small ego run from 2003 to 2008 when the Lakers didn't really achieve anything and he played for the camera, to show how he learned to carbon copy the countless MJ videos he watched in his childish obssession.

After that he declined and fell into mediocrity. He's a decent shooting guard, but nothing special. I've proven multiple times he wasn't the main factor in his own team for all the years they achieved something + there were always more effective payers.

  • @megatroll okay...well we'll see ten years from now. smh. that's all i can tell you

  • Last sentence FAIL. Kobe is hands down without a question a better pure basketball player then both Larry Bird and Magic. You could argue for Magic but he himself has said Kobe is a better player. (@megatroll )

  • @Monster7AT

Would you base your views on actual facts, instead of media puppets statements (and yes, that includes the ones of Magic, Bird, Barkley and all the ESPN shills) you'd see that this is absolute nonnense.

Both Bird and Magic played against actual hard defense, while Bryant improved his stats greatly after the rule changes. And still both have a better career avg, than Bryant.

Spare me with your children's gibberish.

  • @megatroll umm , why then magic has said kobe is better than him, kobe bryant is the greatest laker of all time?

  • @k6mi

Because the NBA suffers from mediocre interest for quite some time now.

Players NEED to get hyped on all ends to attract people to the sport, hence you can see guys like Bird, Magic, Barkley, Jackson etc. + all the NBA affiliated media guys making ridiculous statements about players CONSTANTLY.

If you observe objectively, you'll see how they find a "greatest player of X" every few years. It's all a big marketing campaign and children swallow it.

  • @megatroll the same was told about michael been compared with bird and magic. But see who's the best now? If someone in history of basketball is close michael so that guy is kobe bryant. Im not a kid that dont know a damn thing about basketball. I study it. And make my conclusions. And the only player that i saw the same "shine" that jordan has is Kobe Bryant

  • @CazouS

You just proved to be a tool.

QUOTE: "the only player that i saw the same "shine"

    What a fool you are.

By "shine" you mean hype. Bryant is not even in a league with Bird nor Magic, not even Karl Malone. SO how can he be compared to MJ ? That is absolutely ridiculous and you know it.

  • @megatroll huahahu u just have no point. Karl Malone was a good player but wasnt even close to jordan kobe and those top 10 players.U're a jordan fan that's ok, but u have to admit that Kobe is the best now and is the only one who can be compared to jordan.Remember that jordan play in same lv as bird and magic when they were in the end of their carrers. Its a big deal? Yes it is.But u cant just say that kobe cant be compared with jordan since he's the best since 2000.U cant ignore the facts

  • @CazouS

    Since you mentioned facts...

Fact is Bryant was the best player in the NBA for ONE SEASON!

Fact is both Bird and Magic had consistently better career avg. than him.

Fact is Bryant wasn't even the main factor in his own team for all the championship years. Fact is he isn't the "best" player right now. Fact is he fell into mediocrity and resigns to be a decent shooting guard, nothing more. Stop this childish nonsense, you only ridicule yourself.

  • @megatroll Once more u say things but i dont see any proof, he didnt have a good season but that dont mean he isnt the best. Everyone has a bad season. Kobe was the best player since 2000. Not ONE season as u said.If u mean that shaq was the main reason ok so where are shaq last 2 titles? I saw more points by kobe than magic and bird. Kobe is more sucessful in his way to play. He's a scorer so he should have more points. U're the on saying nosense jsut stop being a hater and accept reality.

  • @CazouS

It is YOU who lives in your fanboy dream world.

Bryant's career scoring avg. is ONE POINT above Bird and Magic, therefore they trump him in every other category, while being their teams leaders. Unlike Bryant who rode on the big man for all his championships.

Shaq was the main factor in his 3 rings, now it's Gasol.

Look at the Lakers off/def win shares since Gasol joined:

    Gasol: 9.8/4.2 , 6.8/4.2 , 10.0/4.7

    Bryant: 8.6/4.0 , 5.4/4.0 , 6.8/3.5

It is YOU who should accept reality kid.

  • @megatroll ok u fucking dumm ass magic rode on BIG MAN to wtf he had kareem and fucking worthy u r the bigggest fuckin hypocrite ever so stfu u dont know wat ur talking bout bird and magic couldnt have won rings with out there team u dumfuck..... ooh but its different right?? so stfu u fucking double standard hypocrite bitch

  • @megatroll GASOL??? ARE U FUCKING KIDDING ME??? Hhauhuahuahuahuah after this i know with who im talking to. A guy that just dont know a thing about NBA. Man johnson average 18 ppg in carrer kobe 25.3,larry average 24.3 ok so u're right but kobe average the SAME assists per game larry won in rebounds, kobe won in steals and even in blocks WTF! If u like stats than take those, u're just a hater man. I saw u comment on other kobe videos,go get a life. I dont dream i study,u should do the same

  • @megatroll How many titles did shaq & gasol win before they played with Kobe? None. Shaq was swept in the 95 finals by dream's rockets & gasol was 0-12 in the playoffs before he was traded to the Lakers. You say Kobe rode these big men for his titles. These guys were losers before they played with Kobe.

  • @DoomDarenxbourg

    That's ignorant nonsense.

Turn it around and place Bryant in each their respective teams at the time. The result would be the same. Your argument is absolute invalid and you're obviously a child.

  • @megatroll Your a fool. Every time Kobe wins you have excuses to say if this happened or if Kobe was on this other team he would lose. James can't beat orlando in 09, boston in 10 & even with dwade & bosh can't beat dallas when they were up 2-1 in that series. Excuses.

  • @DoomDarenxbourg

    Who mentioned James???

There you have it. You're just a child living in your James/Bryant debate world.

Kobe was the main factor offensively during the 09 playoffs and he was the main factor overall during the 02/03 regular season, but on ALL other occasions, he was 2nd fiddle to the big man. Stop swallowing hype and accept the truth.

  • @megatroll Here's some more truth, speaking of 2nd fiddle, that was shaq's roll in the 2006 finals with dwade as the leader. He also got spanked by Dream's rockets in thw 1995 finals. After shaq was traded in 2004 he was 2nd fiddle to wade in 2006, while Kobe lead the Lakers to back 2 back titles in 09 & 10.

  • @DoomDarenxbourg

Shaq was way over his prime at the time.

But that is not the point here. See how you try to escape to James and Shaq? This is not centre of the discussion here. And on your argument of the 2 titles in 09 and 10, if you actually cared to read my comment before, where I posted the off/def win shares of the Lakers for ALL THE SEASONS since Gasol joined, you'd see that Gasol has been the 1# in LA on both ends of the court. This is simple fact.

    Again, accept the truth.
