true, but on some servers the elites tend to outnumber the noobs (in mazerigos chase: horde outnumbers the alliance) and the elites of the outnumberd guys are to busy to do other things then hc / raid / trading imba items, while the other faction is pwning Wintergrasp for instance, in the beginning (just aster WotLK release) WG on mazerigos was quite balanced...after 2 ally guilds migrated, the horde outnumbers the alliance in wintergrasp on an average day almost 10 to 1

actually, if you read Rise of the Horde it explanes it all:

Sargas curupted Kil'jaeden and Archimond forcing Velen and the other Draenei to flee where they found Draenor and were friends with the orcs who tought them shamanism. Then the Legion found them, currupted the orcs, and they had to flee for fear of being mindlessly slaughtered by them. Then they crash landed on Azuremyst Isle and the Alliance (probably the NEs) were the first people they found, and they were welcomed. Its a good book
