@FknRachiix you would be surprised. i assume you mean climb the hill fully loaded? I have come out of coal pits way steeper than that in this exact same truck. im guessing you've never drove one before???
Someone fucked up, it should NOT be doing a 3 point turn there... very big nono, not to mention what its doing to the tyres by scrubbing them without moving the machine foward and back whilst turning. Bad Operator.
i drive 1 of these for a living in a new zealand coal mine carting overburdon great machines but compare them to the 777d this way, 1969 mustang "brick shit house" 2010 mustang "plastic fantastic", good trucks though comfy as and the stereos they come out with are great why wouldnt you want to listen to your own music all day an get paid shit loads to do it....
great little video i drive one of these new 777fs for a living in the uk for uk coal and they are a lovely truck to drive but they are pants in the wet LOL thank for sharing
my only concern would be the ten feet per gallon of gas they get sure you can roll right over the hoard but you run out of gas and your sol..now if you could somehow rig it up solar power just caravan during the day and camp out in armored safety at night...
@snackcrackers85 I have not watch this one month later that was at the time I was addicted to Left4Dead2, but anyway its a great machine if you installed solar energy onto that truck drive it on the day though. Then you got some pretty nice machine to serve as a home for your army of desperados trying to survive in a zombie apocolyspe world.
Yea I want this for my men of survivors we will regain this world from zombies and start a new world. LOL
These are only a baby by today's mining standards. Yes this one does look bigger than a conventional prime mover, but when you see it against a 793C, it looks small. As a truck driver, I once took the engine for a 793 to a mine. 10 tonnes plus!
they look even bigger when they are sliding towards you in the mud and your in a 1ton service truck! its funny to see them spin the tires trying to make it up wet ramps, they have an open rear so only one side spins. if it rains much they shut the pits down cause they cant get them back up the ramps.
these "F" models are smarter then the operator. it tells them how the drive. other then that still the normal wear and tear. maintaining cost quite a bit.
I know the nuts, and bolts of that baby. Me, and another guy stripped, and rebuilt one of the field follow units here in georgia. All the way down to nothing, and back together again.
yea i know a fair bit about em too, looked after 9 from brand new up to 6000hrs, i like those ecpc transmissions they are so easy to tune up, regarding the nuts n bolts I wish CAT would make up their mind and go either metric or imperial, makes it harder for guys to fix em when theyre all sorts eh
