  • so if you do 3 sets of crunches a week and eat healthy you can get a 6 pack? And how long will that take?

  • @carfenaticman123 How long it takes depends on how much fat you have to lose. I listened to steve on blogtalk radio and I believe he mentioned that losing about 1-2 pounds a week is healthy rate for weight loss.

  • Hi hi! Have you heard about - fast abs magic (just google it)? Ive heard some decent things about it and my father got beautiful 6 pack abs and lost a lot of fat with it.

  • Holla! Have you heard about - fast abs magic (do a google search)? Ive heard some interesting things about it and my cousin got amazing Six pack abs and lost tons of belly fat with it.

  • Thanx for your time and help sir.

  • is it possible for a 251 pound guy to do a pull up?

  • @dannyloveisevol If the 251 lb guy is strong enough, then sure. Google image Adrian Peterson. I think he is around 220-230 lbs, and he could easily strap at least an extra 30 lb weight to himself and still do a pull up. Now if the 251 lb guy is out of shape and never works out then it's incredibly unlikely that he'll be able to do a pull up.

  • @dannyloveisevol

    I weigh 265lbs. I can do about 12 pullups.

  • I like it how he says, "First let me silence the critics." That shows that he knows what he is talking about. People could learn a lof from him and his teachings are common sence. I CONSIDER HIM MY INTERNET FITNESS GURU!!!

  • at whoever's posting about crunches: Focus on glue-ing the lower back to the floor (do not let your back curve up) and on relaxing your neck muscle. You should breathe as well; exhaling on the lift.

  • steve do you have to suck in your stomach when doing crunches, also does breathing matter since its anerobic doing crunches?

  • lie- people dont belive just bodybuilding becae they lie- the take steroids and that help them get lost fat. ciao

  • I'm trying to get a six-pack in about 70 days is it possible I weigh 163 lbs and iam 5'11 can everyone get a six-pack through hardwork also since Iam going through puberty I have manboobs iam 16 if I lower my bodyfat will they go away

  • @rocky06934 Being 163 lbs at 5' 11" doesn't sound like you're overweght. Sometimes they will go away after puberty especially since you're not heavy. Time to start lifting and doing some cardio. I think once your activity level increases the ab will begin to show and the man boobs will diminish.

  • Excellent advice, but nobody listens, too many get abs fast for $19.99 on TV

  • hey man, great video! I have a quick question. Im a very skinny team looking to put on weight (lean muscle) but i also want a six pack. To gain weight i need more calories but to lose weight i need less calories, right? how can i do both? Also would cardio be good in this case? Thanks!

  • Sir a question ive been struggling to find the answer for... IS SPOT REDUCTION POSSIBLE IN ANYWAY whatsoever?? .. on any part of our body.. in even the slightest amount or something... i told this to some ppl and they just laugh lol i believe ITS NOT.. but ppl still wanna work their ass of on abdominal exercises or Rep'in it out on every muscle...

    Thanks in Advance

  • @alir90 No it is not. Fat is removed from your body like water out of a pool. Fat loss is seen more in the areas were we don't carry a lot of at like our face (the shallow end of the pool) but it utilized or removed pretty evenly like water from a pool

  • @BodyPerformanceTV Thank you so much for a perfectly logical answer!

  • yea the thing is, if i eat less then that means i wont get much protein for building muscle, thats all im about at the gym is building muscle but when it comes to cardio i dont eat as much and i do lose the weight but after 15-20 pounds i stop. for the reason all my lifts go down like benching, squats, deadlifts, and more heavy lifts all go down, therefor i think im burning muscle and not fat so i stop, and then im back to wear i started, i need a diet with lots of protein and no cals, any help?

  • 0:02 WOW! You look amazing! 8-D

  • Steve, what's your bf%? Just curious

  • @Chaaarge probably around 11-12%

  • @BodyPerformanceTV you kinda look like nbc morning show host matt lauder.

  • i've been killing myself on the treadmill for 4 months now, 5 days a week, 30mins a day with 15mins HIIT, to flatten my pot belly. i've lost inches on all parts of my body BUT my belly and my double-chin. they just stick there no matter what

  • @ohsulof4321 7

    just continue losing fat.

  • @ohsulof4321 well the reason is the last place fat goes off of ur body is ur belly, aswell make sure ur nitrtion is good thats it, keep doing what ur doing i hope u didnt expect fast results

  • PAUSE!!!!! U GUYS STEVE JUST THAT LIKE NOTHING!! So im listening and then he says TWO SETS OF ( 100 ) crunches and im like God help us all LOL!!!

  • I don't do crunches or floor ab exercises at all now that I can rep 200 lbs on the crunch machine a few times a week. I feel like floor crunches aren't doing crap anymore and I'm just wearing myself out writhing around just doing bodyweight.

  • lol let me silence the critics

  • @SeniorSmurf1 LOL! Check out my newest video on my profile page.

  • hey Steve!

i am trying to get abs

I've just stared but i have very little belly fat.

    i am not fat.

can cardio help as well?i don't want to lose my muscle.

and how did you get your abs?

you are a big man.how did you get them?

  • @The52warriors cardio ofcourse does help, but not too much cus ull burn muscle, so half an hour of cardio is great for you, and if u dont want to lose muscle, then keep working out, lift weights, and eat aroudn 4 - 6 meals a day and by meals i mean well balanced meals. all with protein. i cant explain details here so just try research about this, but anyone who tells u that u have to buy something, close imediately, cus u dnt have to buy anytin

  • Hey steve, your videos are an inspiration to me and many of my friends in the UK. I am skinny and have belly fat, i do strength training 3 times a week and do High intensity interval training for 20 minutes 5 times a week, but remain skinny and fat. I eat 3 meals a day, should i eat more? does starvation mode cause skinny fat problem

  • Steve! I love your YouTube videos and your radio show! I listen to it while in the car, working out, etc.

Question: Is it true that non-fat dairy, as well as healthy fats like nuts, avocados, olive oil, etc. actually get rid of belly fat? What about that "belly fat diet" that tells you you need to minimize sugar?

    Thanks!

  • @beachplumm Thanks! Nope, no truth to any of that stuff.

  • thanx***

  • hay plzzz help me with this!!!!!!11 how are you suposed to eat 5 meals a day and stay fit like i dont see myself getting fatter?????? but im not getting enyskinnyer after 2 hours at the gym 5 days a week.... im not seeing eny resolts in my gut area ... what do i need to do? run? steem room?

  • I GOT A IMPORTANT QUESTION. I am 5'11 165 pounds. Im lean but my stomach is the only part that has a little fat, or atleast fat covering my abs. Im currently trying to gain 10 pounds but im also trying to get rid of my overall body fat. Im currently pushing weights and was thinking of doing jogs early in the morning. Does that sound like a good idea? or atleast an effective way to gain and lose body fat?

  • @BodyPerformanceTV Hey, I am a college student and I am somewhat physically fit, lifting everyday and a little bit of cardio. I do have that little flab on my stomach I can't get rid of. Been very strict with my diet, eating extremely healthy and eating less. I feel that it has come down to my cardio routine. Should I do HIIT? If so how often and what should I do? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

  • Could be a food reation or allergy, lactose intolerance, nerves or IBS.

  • so if i go into a calorie deficet will i lose muscle as well of is it just fat or both

  • You'll lose fat if you are patient and keep your fat loss to about 1 lb. per week. If you force the weightloss and have overly large cal deficits from day to day, you will lose some muscle along the way. Keep your cal deficit to 500 calories daily....or LESS.

  • ......To get BIG arms!! After that life becomes meaningless..lol.

  • The purpose of life is to love your life, AND your body! yep yepyep

  • my problem is drop the weight/ fat, w/out..losing strength...i was droped 30 lbs. by cardio. got down to 180 , then my bench went down to less than my own weight....i was pissed ...now my strength is way up...but im at 195 and this is about a year and half latter...so that my battle.....i guess i need more cardio w/ my wieght trainin....help

  • You need to learn how to lose fat weight slowly. About 1 lb per week. Any more then that and you'll run the risk of losing lean muscle as well....especially in the smaller upper body muscles. That is why your bench went down. If you reduce slowly your body will just burn fat and leave the muscle. You're probably doing enough cardio. Reduce your daily calories just slightly and weigh yourself. If you're trending downward at about 1 lb. per week,...you're doing great. Write back for more help.

  • i got your msg and your dead right , in what you told me , i'll do what you said...

  • way to back it up w/ your abs....

  • great video

  • steve, if you need to create a calorie deficit don't you lose muscle too?

how do i lose fat without losing muscle?

  • You keep your calorie deficit at 400-500 calories a day. You lose about 1/7-1/8 pound of fat per day.3500 calories=1 lb of fat. If you keep your deficit around 500 or even 400 to be safe, you will lose 1 lb per week. 500 calories X 7 days=3500 calories or 1 lb of fat lost. Your body will really not notice a 500 calories or less deficit and will burn fat. Anything much more then 500, especially for several days on end, can and will set off alarm bells of starvation...and you'll burn some muscle.

  • lol wow thanks man imma try that. I appreciate it

  • Hey Steve if I ate a few cookies or any other junk food at night and if I ran on an elliptical for about 20-30 minutes on the highest setting, would that be a good idea?

  • ...lol

  • ..and that's the fear of getting hurt. When I was younger it was different, I didn't care. I run my own business now. I need my body strong..not hurt. I'm also at times a little light on insurance. If I break a wrist, tear a shouldler, re-hurt my ear drum, or open up and old cut from my boxing days..what am I going to do? I worry even about doing Olympic lifts as they can be dangerous too. I look at vids with Steve's arm injury. I CAN'T afford for something like that to happen to me now..NO WAY!

  • very bad shoes and even combat boots. Just from that I should have knee, ankle, foot and hip problems. But I do not. I'm convinced that is because I learned how to Squat at a young age. I'm convinced this strengthened my muscles, bones and joints and prevented injuries from running and contact sports. I've been wanting to take up MMA in that last two years. That's part of the reason I've dropped a lean 192 lbs to a much leaner 180 lbs over the last year. Something however is holding me back...

  • steve is right on the money again. Any time you see somone with great abs they have lower body fat. But everybody is a little different. i can see some abs at 15 percent body fat, but i carry most of my fat initialy on my legs and lower body. My arms always stay very lean and shoulders etc. Now im at around 10 percent body fat and my abs are very visable. the lower the body fat goes, the more visible the abs will be, somone at 20-30 percent body fat will have no visible abs period.

  • hmph!

  • Steve! Alot of programs ive seen have said that interval or turbulence training is really the only way to target belly fat! Ive lost many inches in my thighs from regular cardio but my waistline is staying the same...ive been told you cant "spot reduce" and fat will go away in different places when it does but i dont want to be out of proportion and i was wondering if there were any cardio that would shed fat around my WAIST where i really need it, and not so much my legs, which are pretty toned

  • @rungirl05 I got this one Steve. Umm... No.

  • LOL..I see that I put me at 32 and Steve at 33,..aah just make us both 32. I've been waiting for months to bring that up. It's kind of strange though, you get hit on by 21-24 year old girls all the time. It's not that they know you're 46 but just look good, they truly believe by what they see that you're about 30. It's kind of strange feeling when you break the news or they finally get a look at your licence. They feel duped. But, I like women who are about my age anyway...as long as they train.

  • If your training does NOT challenge large amounts of muscle fiber and bone often, you don't get the that youthful effect to as large a degree. It's sort of vain to talk about this stuff, I wasn't going to bring it up. P90X and programs like that are fine, but you will NOT retain or build as much muscle mass or bone mass like you with with just HEAVY challenging squats, bench, powercleans, etc. Steve looks about 33 but he's almost 46. When he's 56he'll look about 37. Strength guys don't age much.

  • O.K.,.FINALLY someone picks up on that! I've been waiting for someone to comment on that. THAT is one of the main positives of serious strength training.....IT MAKES YOU LOOK YOUNG!!! Without sounding to conceded, I'm also Steve's age...I'm 46 actually, and also look to be about 32. One of the biomarkers of age is a certain amount of lost muscle mass. When you do heavy strength training, you maintain the lean muscle mass...and Bone mass, you had when you were 18-23. So you look very young.

  • hey brushfour ive been lifting since 19, im now 24 and i noticed that i can look forward to looking better every year through weight training. I never lifted weights in highschool at all or was never a jock. Only after highschool i began lifting. But i always noticed lifting weights makes you young. and your still going at it ar 46 thats an inspiration. but question how are your joints holding up? are u taking any glucosamine? how about glutamine?

  • Hey Spartan, yes weight-training builds, maintains both muscle and bone mass. Natural strength athletes tend to look very young and athletic. I've played A LOT of contact sports in my life: Football, Wrestling, Boxing, Powerlifting. Well the last one is not a contact sport, but it's tough on the body lets say.Yet, I've never spent a day in the hospital in my life. I truly don't know what that experience is like. I have NO joint problems. I used to do LONG road work running drills wearing....

  • Thank you for the video. I weigh ~210 pounds. I have some side fat and a little around the waist. I am doing 1 to 2 sets of crunches a day. (100+ of them) I am 6 feet tall. About how long will it take, with a great diet and crunches, to lose the weight I have. I dropped from 225 in about a month, but I look the same as I did then. Thanks in advance.

  • Thank you!

  • Ab wheel is pretty useless in my opinion, doing crunches, pilates and / or yoga to tighten the ab muscles is good enough. After that just do some form of intense cardio for and hour, in my case kenpo and you should be fine. :)

  • Very cool!

  • how old are u? YOU ARE RIPED

  • How old do I look?

  • @BodyPerformanceTV early 30 maybe 32

  • The Ab Wheel is gimmicky crap for people who don't know how to properly work the abdominals.

  • Your asking Steve I think, but my opinion is that I like the Wheel exercises. My only problem is right now I don't own one. When I had access to one, I really used it. I know some good athletes that use it as well. I'd be interested to hear what Steve thinks about wheel ab training.

  • What do you think of the Ab Wheel for working the abs? That's the wagon wheel with the stick through it.

  • Too difficult for the average person to use. Also very hard on the lower back and shoulder. I address this on a recent BlogTalkRadio show.

  • @BodyPerformanceTV

I have a ab wheel. Isn't it only hard on your back if you use improper form?

  • Sounds good! That plus all your compound lifts, bench, cleans, and the SQUAT in my opinion are great waist, ab, hip and low back developers. Put those together with cardio and controlled food portions/calories done consistantly over time and you will have a six pack that can't be beat. There's quite a few lean athletes out there with six packs, but lifters who do compound movements along with reasonable specific ab training have THEE best looking and most complete lean waist development of all!

  • You're asking Steve, but in my opinion, you should do some isolated exercises for the abs. I do very little however...about 1 or 2 intense sets per week. You may not be able to see the abs themselves for awhile, but ab training + all the lifts you mentioned, will give your entire waist a nice strong athletic type look, even if your bodyfat is a bit higher. A strong waist is also the foundation for any athlete.

  • Thanks, that's what I always thought. I do two sets of sit-ups, wood choppers with 30-40lbs, and leg lifts twice a week. well 2x20. I do them before cardio.

  • I understand you can't spot train for a six pack. However, should people that are trying to lose weight skip abs completely? Is there a bare minimum for abdominal training, or are all the normal workouts (Squats, Bench, Dead lifts, and so on) enough for the core/abs.

  • How does you diet change as you get closer to getting your abdominals to show? Can you still eat foods you like or did you have to eat primarily veggies and fruits?

  • Your diet doesn't have to change. As long as you create a calorie deficit you will lose weight.

  • is there any protine in fat? Ive always wondered where carbs and protine are stored. I think carbs are stored in the form as glucose? or soemthing in the muscles and protine does get stored somewhere but not sure where. Is fat just fat or are there other things that make it up? thanks :-)

  • hi Steve

can i please get some information on Power training, power lifting, and how can these exercises be used on regular gym machines.

    Thank you very much

  • Wow! You burn 9500-12,000 calories per week exercising!? I'm heavier then you TGW, and I think I burn maybe 2000. You must mean your TOTAL calorie burn for the week. What your body burns normally from day to day + your exercise calories,..right? Maybe you don't mean that. To burn 12,000 a week is like 1700 extra calories burned per day. To get those lower abs to show, you probably only need to drop another 2-3 lbs. of fat at most. Cut your cals by 100 per day, you'll be there in 10 weeks.

  • I found out that getting my lower abs revealed is a long-term undertaking. Compared to the two upper abdominal muscle "rows" it took me three or four months just to see the outlines of my lower abdominals. They are still not revealed yet. Alright, I eat a lot because I work out extensively and because I don't want to lose lean body mass. Maybe I could accelerate the process by increasing my caloric deficit. But I'm not in a haste. Still have time until Christmas. ;)

  • You're pretty lean already! Remember, women carry additional body fat in their lower abdominals so you may have to really lower your food intake to see them. This may be difficult to main take with your height, musclarity and training regimen.

  • Thank you very much indeed, Steve! Currently I decided to have a seven day diet break from my slight caloric deficit. But after it I will consider to extend it a little bit more. According to my heart rate monitor, I burn approximately 9500 to 12000 calories per week just through exercising. I still lose body fat, but excruciatingly slow. Maybe I reached a point where further progress can only be achieved by more drastically methods, like creating a larger caloric deficit.

  • NO ONE SEEMS TO AWNSER THIS QUESTION. Does it matter if you do all your sets for an exercise at once, or is it better to spread them out. EXAMPLE: Doing one set of a certain exercise then moving on to the next exercise. Then picking up the other set later in the workout like in a rotation. Thank you.

  • Here's your answer. The BETTER muscular shape a person is in the more stress the muscles need. Therefore doing stright sets is better than doing a circuit type workout.

  • Thank you soo much! No one I know could give me a straight answere for that! I really appreciate it! Thank you so much for helping me!

  • Great to finally find somebody who really knows what they're talking about. I can't tell you how many scams I've seen around.

  • Me too! That's why I began offering these videos. Nothing worse then seeing somebody pay hard earned money for personal training and they're balancing on balls wasting time and money!

  • I know a guy who is a competive bodybuilder that also does a high volume of crunches like Steve. He told me that he feels he hits his waist heavy enough with lower rep squats, deadlifts and cleans, and that when he trains abs specific, he likes to change it up and instead build intensity through a higher volume of isolated ab work like crunches. Interesting!

  • I feel squats work my abs and waist very well. Same with deadlifts. I do ab work, either HIT or high volume, but I really feel that when I'm powering out of ass-to-grass deep squats, with 330 lbs on my back, with no knee wraps or belt, that just hits waist developement so hard. At least it feels that way. I could be wrong.

  • Your not wrong

  • You can do 2 sets of 15-20 crunches thats what I do like once a week until my stomach aint sore then I will work it twice a week to be truthly "I DONT LIKE TO WORK MY STOMACH AT ALL" I diet good I'm see my stomach muscles shaping and coming but I seen it way before I started working my stmach when you jog or run hold your stmach tight that will help you alot right there ad diet thats almost better then working your stomach

  • Nice 6 pack steve! it looks like you turned fat from you stomach into muscle. is that true? or is it just the regular, doing cardio, etc?

  • Fat CANNOT be turned into muscle or Vice versa. They are two different things. I do what I teach. Workout, watch my diet and do cardio!

  • 2 sets of 100 crunches "that's it?" are you insane? that's a ton..

  • Patrick Bateman can do a thousand now.

  • hahahaha comment win

  • Agreed. I do 100 crunches 3-5 times a week. But truthfully, it's more cardio than crunches that'll get you that 6 pack. Weightlifting plays a part in that also. And diet. Fuck, It's no wonder it's difficult to achieve! Just keep working out!

  • you'r awesome and you look even mor fit! thanks for the info!

  • Thank you! My pleasure!

  • thank you very much steve. Im glad you got your radio show. Your such an inspiration

  • Always glad to help!

  • bettydaw, you need to read up on what a "striation" is to begin with. Striations are not going to be that prominent on the abdominals anyway. Striations are generally seen more prominently on the larger and fuller muscle groups like the legs, chest, shoulders and arms. Striations in bodybuilding,..are an appearance. You're seeing (though the skin) the appearance of the actual contractile fibers themselves; the bundles of myofybrils. They only get larger or smaller, not longer, leaner or deeper.

  • Fitness competitors are the average person who have made the decision to dedicate themselves to a sport. I've NEVER seen a competitor at any level of competition have to retire themselves because of some predisposted condition regarding their abdominals. Son,.. I've been following Bodybuiding for OVER 30 years, ever since Dave Drapers bicep shot in the ads in the back of comic books. Yes, some competitors have inherited a higher bodyfat levels then others. They'll have to work longer. So what?

  • Atomic, when you say sprinting and climbing, you're talking about on the bike correct? I've think I've heard those terms used by cyclists. Biking is just such continues non stop work on the legs which = the best kind of cardio you can ever hope to do. The climbing I think then requires some continues upper body work? I live in a city that has LOTS of triathletes and actually hosts one of the yearly Ironman's. I've seen LOTS of cyclists in training and so help me I've never seen a fat one yet!

  • Jda, you've got to build and tone the abdominal muscle so when the fat is stripped away by cardio and diet, there is something there more completely developed and strong and athletic looking. I've seen people, who were not really athletes or lifters, who had VERY low bodyfat and you could see their abs clearly. However, because the abs were small and had not been trained or built well, it's wasn't that impressive to see. Strong abs also support all athletic activities, lifting and other sports.

  • Cycling!

  • Steve! Youre tha man! :D

I'd love to see a video aimed at the people who lost motivation, to build up their motivation and spirit

Love your videos :D and the blogtalkradio thing is really cool^^

  • THANK YOU! Please tell a friend about the radio show. I want to help as many people achieve their weight loss & fitness goals.

  • what's the point of doing ab exercises if they do not help you to be able to see the abdominal muscles?

  • Hey AtomicDom,....that's FANTASTIC!!!! Excellent story. I'm more of a stationary biker--Schwinn Airdyne myself. I like the both the leg and arm action. GREAT activity for getting lean isn't it. I actually come kind of an extensive boxing and wrestling background. I've seen plenty of fat competitive boxers and wrestlers,...but I've NEVER seen a fat competitive bike racer! Never!

  • That's true. !'m actually at the perfect weight for a cyclist racer. The less you weigh the faster and easier it is on the bike. I do a lot of sprinting and climbing and you actually can get an upper body workout on a bike utilizing those.

  • Bettydaw, your post has no basis in reality. If ANYONE loses bodyfat and gets their bodyfat percentage% to a certain low level, you will be able to see their abdominal muscles. Natural bodybuilders and fitness competitiors...both male and female, come from a myriad of different genetic backgrounds. Yet on competition night, they all have defined abdominal muscles. You've been horribly misinformed! Teaching people fitness in a more complete and sophisticated way, is why this site was created.

  • of course if you have a low fat% iu can see stomach muscles...but not necessarly a ripped 6 pack..fitness competitors have genetic predispositions to variuos level of muscle striations deeper then the "average person"you cant work out to get dimples or a cleft chin they are genetic, just like 6 pack striations..

i didnt read this from a book son..

i am very intellegent and have followed bodybuilding for almost 30 years...

  • 6pack= muscle striations=genetic

u can be fat and loose weight and you will see them if u have the genetics

if u are fat and you loose aton of weight but dont have the genetics for "6 pack striations" (striations=cuts) then u will have a flat stomach but not a 6 pack..

steroids or human growth hormones (although very unhealthy in general) work wonders for increasing striations in the stomache..

this guy is on hgh or roids..

  • lazyness=jelously=frustration=hate and lie ... ur problem is lazyness or stupidity :P

  • What's it like when you don't tense? Can you actually remain healthy and have a completely flat stomach? I have a six pack when I tense, but when I don't my stomach sticks out very slightly at the bottom, my doctor said I shouldn't lose more weight because my BMI Is 20... What do you think?

  • nice abs!... and nice vid :)

  • No wonder Steve keeps saying "love your body". Shit if I had his body, I would love it too!

  • the man himself right here

ur money will be put to MUCH better use signing up for a month and asking all questions and understand FITNESS, rather than wasting it on workout programs and supplements

  • lol chill man i didnt mean sticking out of shirt, I meant that the abs look like they cover a lot of area on his stomach.

  • steve i was on your 3 day trial the other day and you never responded to my question i sent you.. my username was INSmod please send me an email thanks

  • Whoops, made a mistake. AtomicDon, that question was for METALLICAMAN15. Metallicaman15, that question is for you.

  • TheAtomicDon, how fast did you lose the weight? Also, weight training and muscle building can do wonders with building muscle under loose skin. Usually, but not always, lose skin is a result of losing like 3 or 4 pounds per week continuesly throughout your diet. If you go slow, you can avoid a lot of loose skin isssues. When you diet too fast, you lose a good amount of muscle mass...which then results in looser skin appearance.

  • In Jan 2008 i was 229lbs. Yesterday I weighed 155lbs.! I'm 5'9" . So I'm still losing but I'm not trying to. It's just working out that way. I eat A LOT! And train hard! I'm a cyclist and 75% of the weight lost is from cycling. I know this Q is for METALLICAMAN15(ugh) but there it is.

  • 5 stars thx man :D

  • Thanks!

  • i have abs but when i lost weight i got exessce skin

  • Steve,

  • Hi Steve!

once again a very useful & realistic advice!!!Thanks!!!

How long does it take for "Unused" carbohydrates to turn into fat?

    Few hours?Days?

    Thank you!

  • i no u werent asking me, and i don't no the awnser either...but id suggest using the carbs b4 they even turn into fat lol

  • Awesome video as usual Steve, thanks again.

  • TY!

  • love your videos steve

  • Thank you!

  • TY!

  • Go lecture somebody esle. You have no clue.

  • Pomerami, LOL..what the hell? How many calories do you think you burn when you lift, especially a small muscle group like abs? If your 215 lbs/180 lbs lean muscle mass, that = about 16% bodyfat. If you want your abs to show you'll have to get to about 200 lbs/180 lbs lean muscle mass which = 10% bodyfat. That's 15 lbs of FAT to lose or 15 lbs. X 3500 calories which = 52,500 calories to burn, at about 400 calories deficit per day X about 135 days. You burn about 30 extra calories or so doing abs.

  • your great.
