Injuries had forced Stone Cold to vacate his Intercontinental Championship. A tournament was conducted to declare a winner and Owen Hart met up with Faarooq in the finals. In the end, Stone Cold hit Faarooq with the belt, allowing Hart to win. It was later revealed that Stone Cold helped Owen win so he could get revenge on him later for hurting his neck.

@Tubewings Actually, I did see this in French at the time.  And I recall just after Austin threw down the headset of Jean Brassard. Raymond Rougeau translated Austins words as follows:"Il faut qu'on traduise ce qu'il vient de dire. Sinon c'est à nous qu'il va servir une correction." Also just before he took Jean Brassard's headset, he squealed, "Mais, que se passe-t-il?" in a whiney high pitched snobby voice!
