This is one of the first singles i ever bought , i think i was about 12 years old .I use to play it so many times ! Gosh am i getting old or what ? These days i listen to totally diffrent music, but when i hear this song , i have to to laugh !!! Brings back memories !!!

@Harmonlisa - The women that appeared in the other Funkytown videos for Lipps Inc were session musicians and did not actually sing the song! They were performers. Cynthia Johnson sang lead vocals for this song. Google it if you don't believe me.

@ShalomNY I knew that 30 years ago, but a lot of people don't mostly because there is little information about the band, they disappeared off the face of the planet. Most if not all the instruments were played by Steven Greenberg and he wrote all the songs. Some of the "band" were session musicians you are correct. Also Cynthia may have played the sax in the song as well, she was a sax player.
