It is only hurtful...I used to be very thin because of a gluten allergy that did not allow me to absorb nutrients effectively and these were the kind of comments that made me very sad and insecure. Instead of channeling the energy you used to type a hurtful message try to be more positive and complimentary. I usually don't respond to these comments-but I've been criticized for being too thin and it is horrible.

  • Huge misconception: " dont lift weights if youre a woman it'll make you bulk up"  NOT TRUE, we dont have the hormones to "bulk up" . Hit those weights ladies! Dont be scared. :-)

  • I don't wear make-up to the gym, I don't really see the point. Most of the time you see girls with mascara and foundation dripping down there faces after they've sweated abit lmao. Not nice but to make myself feel a bit better I usually do my hair before I go in a cute messy, curly bun or in a braid. W/e:P

  • No, absolutely no makeup to the gym for me. I lift weights and the men in there usually make fun of the girls who go in and jog on the treadmill with makeup on. Not cute.

  • i wear make up to the gym, some mascara and a tinted moisturizer. This is because i feel very uncomfortable with how i look without make up, i've had extremely bad acne in the past and there are acne scars all over my face:/

  • So my cousin knew this girl who drew her eyebrows in because she didn't have any cuz she shaved them, and she was in the trendmill and she cleaned her forehead with her arm and erased an eyebrow and when my cousin told her she ran to the bathroom to draw it back in!!!

  • if you really want to wear makeup to the gym or anywhere else you plan on sweating a lot, make sure you use durable eyeliner/mascara and put it on really clean ONLY on top! that way if it drips down onto your lower eye a little, it won't look too sloppy. as far as skin stuff, if it is a light workout, maybe tinted moisturizer and/or powder??

  • every guy i know, including myself, all laugh at women that wear makeup to a gym. do women think its a club. lol. its a place to sweat and workout, not to pickup someone. sure if you meet someone, cool. but putting on makeup is a no no, guys don't think its cool. in fact guys i know make fun of girls that do, doesn't matter how pretty they are, the mere fact that they wear makeup to a gym is crazy.

  • you are under the misconception, that you can get muscular. alot of women are under this false impression that they can get bulky or to muscular. first, that is impossible. women cant get muscular, they can gain some muscle, but its more in the form of lean muscles, not bulky. women simply don't have the right hormones or muscle structure to get big like men. so don't worry about getting bulky. it won't happen

  • 10-15 sit ups for each set of muscles won't exactly do much. as in won't build much muscle. its the most effective if you them in sets of 150-200 with 4 different ab exercises so it'll equal about 600+. the world is so out of shape. and im not even some sort of body builder. i run the 400 in high school track and that's our pre-season ab workout. for BEFORE we've gotten in shape.

  • Since you live in a hot area, what do you use to protect your skin from the sun, specifically the face? Do you use it everyday?

  • Another great tip is that maybe u should try "pulsing" is when u put ur legs up n cross them n stick your arms straight near ur kneecaps n in an "up down motion" (not so fast, but just right). u shud feel a tense sensation n it's a great way to tone up the body for modeling. I used to do it a lot for skating.

  • when u say sit ups....those were crunches....full sit ups are when u really go up from the ground, near ur knees and back 2 da ground. I'm not sure if u were lifting w/ ur neck, but try not to do tat....try 2 lift w/ ur abs. *tat's wat i had to do in volleyball*

  • I wear makeup to the gym and have noticed quite alot of people do. I've never head it run off my face or anything shocking lol, as long as you don't plaster it on its cool :)

  • Great video! I don't wear makeup either but when I do run out of gentle sunscreen for my face, I substitute my Neutrogena Healthy Skin Enhancer Tinted Moisturizer that's SPF 20. I have acne prone skin that's under control and I never really have any problems when i use the tinted moisturizer. However, I want to emphasize that I only substitute when I run out of my AVEENO Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer SPF30.

  • i don't purposely put on makeup to go to the gym. i usually already have makeup on from the morning since i have to go to classes and whatnot so by the time i go to the gym i the afternoon i still have makeup on. so whatever i sweat off i really don't care about because i'd be going home anyways.

  • I'm lucky enough to have a health obsessed mother who bought a great tread mill. Because of that I work out at home and do some crunches in my pj's...

    highly recommended to anyone who can afford it and have space for one !

  • I dont wear make up to the gym,like I take my make up off from the day as I go to the gym in the eve.The most I would wear would be mineral make up as it wouldn't clog my pores.But when u go to workout you sweat loads so whats point in make up??I don't get it like! I think its silly and waste make up.Like a bit face cream and if u need some coverage for your face use just a light foundation and thats it.

  • Thanks for the video.  Interesting seeing someone elses workout. I don't wear makeup usually, my eyes tend to burn with anything around them. I just wear a hat, I am really pale and during the winter you have too! (canadian) My job is 5 miles away so I usually walk there and back, its nice and relaxing :) Pilates is worth it! Easy and you get results. Thanks again.

  • running on concrete is terrible for your joints! concrete provides no give and the pounding on your joints will really do some damage. you should try to run on the blacktop as much as you can, even if it's a bit more dangerous! or better yet, run to a school and run on their track. your knees and ankles will love you for it...
