  • this is true and many more os its up to u

  • these people are lucky they lived in america. if they tried this in any other country especially china or russia they wouldnt be here today

  • not just vietnam every war should stop now love to all

  • freedom for all no more war peace for everyone l-o-v-e

  • The answer is still blowing in wind...so many years later

  • im sorry but when my grandpa got back from veitnam a hippie called him a baby killer and spat on him, thats a lot of bullshit anyone agree

  • FUCK U HIPPIES!!! IT IS BECAUSE OF YOU GUYS WE LOST THE WAR AND U LET THE EVIL GO ON! YOU KNOW THAT BECAUSE OF U GUYS, MILLIONS OF MY OWN INNOCENT PEOPLE HAVE DIED AND TORTURED, and they will probably will never have freedom ever again in there life, while u guys take of granted. IF U FUCKING HIPPIES HAVE'T EXPERIENCE THE LIFE THAT THE OF THE VIETNAMESE PEOPLE WENT THROUGH THE SHUT THE FUCK UP!

  • this is a demonstration of people who are to much of a pussy to defend there freedoms and because of these fucking morons we are still going through this anti war hippie bullshit

  • @tony312d569l we were not defending freedom,we were killing for land and a place to put our war toys. The enemy is the fool who will kill just because a man tells him he needs to. you sir are a fool. when the enemy comes to my shore i will fight just like the so called enemy did back then.

  • @George6360 You don't know what you are talking about, were killing scum bags who crashed planes into the twin towers, and killed many innocents. We are fighting for freedom and always have, it's just not always are freedom. The people in Iraq arn't all bad. Just the terrorists

  • @inuformers We have invaded and killed many innocents over our short history as a country so i guess we are terrorists as well huh..and if not for our criminal actions over the last 60 or so years there would have been no 9/11....we as a nation have done far worse and killed far more than any Arab could ever do to us..fact is we are quite lucky it was only a couple of planes and if we don't change our self righteous ways it will be worse next time for sure.

  • @George6360 Sure go ahead and ask all the german speaking brits and dead jews that we didn't help in world war two. Say that to all the french we didn't save in world war one. Say that to all the Samolians that starved to death during their civil war in the 90s. If that is what a terrorist is then Im proud to be one

  • @inuformers Fact is we were helping ourself..did we enter WW1 in 1916 or wait? , did we enter WW2 in 1939 or wait? did we leave the Samolians flat after we noticed there was nothing to gain by helping them?..we go to war for money and power just like all countries so save the peace and freedom bullshit because while this country treats its people very well, it is still an imperial power out for resources and self interest.

  • @George6360 Ok so because we invaded the middle east, that must be why were doing so well right now, and not on the verge of going down the Fucking toilet.

  • @inuformers Dwight D. Eisenhower warned the people about the Military Industrial Complex in his farewell address and sure enough it came to be true, even as far back as the 50's and 60's...many profit from war in many ways and they can care less about any ones freedom or if you or I go down the toilet.

  • @inuformers Ask your self why we have killed 800,000 people , most being civilians in the past 10 years if loss of innocent life means so much to you.

  • @George6360 It's war after all right? I don't agree with all the loss of life that is due to our troops, a lot of people that most likely would've lived if we took more time being careful, but like I said it is war and bad things happen. We left Iraq and will be back there soon enough because without us there things are going to go right down the shitter, even more than they are now. Peace is a myth because it never truely will occur it may appear so but it won't

  • @inuformers We initiated and supported much of the financing ,intelligence and military help that built "Saddam's Iraq" into the power it became. This included several billions of dollars, economic aid, sale of dual use technology, non U.S origin weaponry, chemicals, special ops. training, military intelligence and direct involvement in warfare with Iran. Then go to war with Iraq. Listen to Eisenhower's farewell address and think about the fact that we make war for profit now not freedom

  • @George6360 Oh no I have no doubt that we were in war for the profit, buy I'd be lying if I said we haven't done any good. I believe with all these regime changes we have both profitted from them and freed the people, Gaddafi (I've seen it spelled a ton of ways.) needed to go and we helped fund that so we can get oil. There is no doubt we are making up the fact that Iran is going to cut off our oil, so we can attack them. We're trying to destroy the middle east. We help ourselves but also others

  • @inuformers My point is that we have a permanent armament industry now and it encourages warlike policies in the interest of their own profit. Further it has had an unfortunate impact on our national economy and threatens individual freedoms.

  • @George6360 Now we are getting somewhere. I used to support the Iraq and Afganastan wars. But ever since they became war agenst terrorists(We did remove Saddam From office.) It's been clear it is impossiable to win. Now that we might go to Iran, We will no doubt win, because if Iran develops nukes, well it's either us or Isreal,It's not intirely for our own profit. Yes we will take their gas and oil. But if we can stop Iran. another thorn in the side of the world will be gone.

  • Comment removed

  • @inuformers The U.S. could “win” by dropping hundreds of nuclear weapons on Iran’s military bases, nuclear facilities and industrial centres (i.e. cities) and killing five to 10 million people, but short of that, nothing works. On this we have the word of Richard Clarke, counter-terrorism adviser in the White House under three administrations.

  • @George6360 There are some 80 million people in Iran, and although many of them don’t like the present regime they are almost all fervent patriots who would resist a foreign invasion. Iran is a mountainous country, and very big: four times the size of Iraq. The Iranian army currently numbers about 450,000 men, slightly smaller than the U.S. Army—but unlike the U.S. Army, it does not have its troops scattered across literally dozens of countries. This is from our military not me

  • @George6360 Yes but if we could cut off their food supply and gain the help of isreal and other countried who dislike Iran it would be a piece of cake. But then of course their would be the fight over who gain the oil in it's soil

  • @inuformers Again..nothing short of a nuclear attack would work. I mean look at what those people eat..haha. We need to pull out of the middle east and take care of our own country because our infrastructure is in bad shape..to many bombs and planes built and not enough roads, bridges, etc.

  • @George6360 We need to rebuild our own country before we can continue on. But if Iran really does start to embargo oil trade or finish a nuclear weapon we will have no choice but to get involved

  • Joan Baez, strong anti war protester0Bob Dylan wrote the song

  • great vid. who's singing ?

  • war is at had... war of hearts, too many hearts are being murdered in cold blood, i cry freedom for the lost souls let astray by closed hearts who only dream of peace and think of love...

Give love a chance and stop hurting each other, with words of anger, thoughts of hate, let us share so we can abolish greed... or it will come, it will be of wrath for we are wrath without love and it will be our consequence... all we need is love...

  • whats the first song??

  • blowin in the wind- bob dylan

not sure who sings it here though

  • Maybe Joan Baez?

  • Give peace a chance! This is a lovely song.

  • GIVE PEACE A CHANCE

  • So whats up with the Taliban on the verge of overthrowing the Pakistani government ? Didn't the "Give peace a chance" when freeing up the iron fist grip of Musharraf?

    oh

    History never repeats ?

  • Nope, no one needs history what are you an idiot? We should replace history classes with drum circles, anti-sanity protests, and spitting in the faces of American soldiers. (Sarcasm)

  • Personally I think we all can agree on that the Vietnam War was a mistake to go fight BUT we shouldn't bash the soldiers who fought bravely.

  • MY heros! <3 right on for throwing your medals away! <3 Give peace a chance people!

  • I am totally against war and I like your video very much. Its a shame people see it necesarcy to fight, and these days not as many people seem to care about World peace.

Is this song the Joan Baez version?

    Well done, anyway.

  • love to have those medals they threw away.

  • Why would you want somthing from the army? thats about all they give you is a shiny plate in your skull and a shiny button on your jacket,

  • What an outstanding piece of work...well done. It says it all perfectly. If W had had the guts to go to Nam, he wouldn't be so quick to kill our kids for his ill-planned delusion of conquest and salvation.

  • LOVE PEACE, pleace give peace a chance!

  • If it wasn't for war. There would be 80 billion people on earth and you'd be trying to stuff your neighbor into a hotdog so your family could eat. You moron!

  • what's funny is that as a result of us pulling out, a third of the entire population of Cambodia parished in the three and a half year rule by the Communists. Also, two million Vietnamese fled their country at the risk juts to go to America.

  • That is not completly true, and not funny either, colonial policies over many decades created the problem in the first place but we did have a responsibility to help the people after we stoped bombing them of course, but staying invovled with our fighting?...not an answer.

  • grazie busch per avere creato un nuovo vietnam

  • Eu Amo esse video

  • The "Creator" made us in his image...

gave us "Wisdom" to choose "Right" from "Wrong"...

    with "Consequences" of course...

make the Right "choice" and everlasting Peace will be with YOU...

even after "judgement day" (the day you die)

  • What music is this?

  • Joan Baez - Blowing in the wind (originally written by Bob Dylan).

Thanks for the comment, keep up da Love PowaAa!

  • @mcjanuszewise

It was an I guess still is called Folk Music in the late 60's Carol King,Joan Baez an men like James Taylor,Bob Dylan all have sung the same sort of music during the 1960's,early 70's. That seems an interesting time in history as a lot of the music was sung "Against the Vietnam War" The acustic guitars were also called Folk Guitars

  • War is a fool's game push forth by those who have nothing to lose but much to gain while fought by those who have the most to lose and the least to gain

  • Like WWII right? A fool's game.

  • If it wasn't for war, there would be 80 billion people on earth and you would be part of the menu. You tasty moron!

  • well, I hope you chumps are doing your duty and humping it over the dunes of Iraq and the hills of Afghanistan - but somehow I think not.

  • Dirty rats now is a trash of American society. What a shame~!
