Jesus is the only hope of salvation from the guilt of sin. He is God come in the flesh. And he came to wash away our sins with his blood that he shed on the cross. Salvation is a free gift, but you must repent and ask Jesus to save you from your sins and come into your heart. God is good. It is written, "The just shall live by his faith."
I like the lyrics change in this version. I remember a different version where he said "...we checked into a cheap motel that had a broken neon sign I felt a little outta line, but she sure did look great..."
Seen Dylan live many times......it is like new each time.....I love this poet.
He was such a large part of my heart in my youth and still is to this day, He is Forever Young in my heart.....never thought I was cool and Dylan was never a "pop star" to me,
But don't get me wrong. I love dylan, but in perspective. I play many of his songs. too bad I remember the lyrics about as well as Bobby Weir used to...
death0by0zgs!!! its a dam shame that yt is doing this!! let this music be free for our youth needs to hear and see where the real music and and true thoughts of american folk music have come from......forever young
@fcdgnl Where is this info coming from? How do we really know if and why? If they are really being deleted, doesn't he have something to do with that?
I just watched him perform this song live on Thursday! Yes, alcohol and smoking may not have helped his voice but that is not the point. I just saw the greatest songwriter of history perform live. He was a storyteller. It was memorizing.
@ForeverAusten Boy, are you dim. Smoke some more pot, dude. This guy was a simpleton compared to the writers of the generation which preceded him - Duke Ellington, Harry James, and Woody Herman to name a few. And compared to his brother Jew, Andrew Lloyd Weber, Dylan was just - simplistic, but very entertaining to drugged out lemmings who thought they were cool because they were following a "pop" star.
@lukeman62 You have one of the most derogatory comments I've read in a while. Everyone has different taste, deal with it. You're condesceding attitude is just anoyying and shows how immature you are, that you needed to say somthing like that.. I guess Dylan is just too "commercial" for you. Now if you'll excuse me I need to listen to some Lloyd Weber and drink some fine wine.
@lukeman62 Reality is, you are an Anti-Semite. Your attack upon this music led me to read your praise for Pro-Hamas... wow. BTW - Lame ass poetry readings Mr.Dim.
@ForeverAusten WHAT ABOUT HIS VOICE>>??? its never been considered any thing.....but i've always loved it...its his...it still is...just like all the words...his. & he gave them to us so that they are now are ours. jah.
@ForeverAusten Good to see that people still understand that his lyrics and ability to tell the story were the voice of the times. Truly one of the all time greats.
@ForeverAusten i'm going to see him friday. it's my first time. I'm only 35 yr old. I certainly was born too late, maybe it was just a simple twist of fate lol

Take off all the Dylan you want, I'm just going to download it anyways. So sony and youtube you both lose again.

This song has such a whimsical quality. It's like dancing with a ghost in some forgotten time. Fate is a funny thing.

this is one of the few bob dylan songs that uses the 'love chord'. usually dylan just uses blues chords.
ri394 1 year ago
@ri394 Mmh, I don't know what you mean with "love chord" but there's lot of Bob's songs with chords like this, made with a unusual tuning.
