Her singing takes me to some abstract realm. In some of the best portions of the song, it seems like the musical instruments are trying hard to catch up with the flawlessness in her voice.

@probingminds I cannot agree more with what you said. In just about every song she sung (esp Viriboni) all of the instruments are racing to keep up with her. Even something as FAST as violin seems lazy in front of her!!

Lovely,she was and will be the only person who sang flawlessly in several languages.How could she even try to sing tyagaraja kritis?All of his songs had such complicated words,which are not even used these days.Annamacharya songs were even difficult,Even telugu people cannot spell them correctly.But MS did it.

Its her dedication and devotion to the art form she loved.And she moved everyone with this attitude.Lovely,just lovely.

@samaganam sir, I'm afraid that is an over- generalisation. I am a telugu and I can certainly pronounce the words equally well.Truth is most annamacharya keerthanalu are in 'prakruthi' ( ప్రకృతి) version of telugu, which is colloquial telugu, i.e commoners' telugu, so they are not really tricky to pronounce.Of course her pronunciation is empowered by her knowledge of Sanskrit :)
