Ive seen those rapids before and wondered why no one surfed them. They're bizarre and perfect.

how do you get all the way over there and stand on your board? doesent the current like take you away?

about 70 yards further up river, the surfers paddle into the stream. When they get close they turn their boards into the stream and facing tghe oncoming water until that particular point in the river they stand and get into the "wave" or wake of that area.
