  • 0:44 nice tritonus

  • beatiful sounding synth

  • So 80's sci-fi

  • WITH A MOTHER FUCKING FISH EYE LENS

  • tsssssssssssss,, muy bueno ,, muy cabron,, suerte brother.

  • Beautiful haunting sounds, but rather different (in a good way) from the Solina though

  • these things are insane. they remind me of david bowies "low"... kinda.

  • @countrydoctor youre not wrong!

  • thats really cool, does it have a button like the one on the SH-201 that makes it so only one note can play at a time??

  • @Maccied00dle Probably; from what I've seen if a synth is polyphonic there is usually some option to make it monophonic.

  • Blade Runner in my mind :D

  • Wonderful! Does it have the same strings of its big brothers Rs-202 & Rs-505?

  • i dont know these machines, sorry.

  • I remember this too from the youtube remixed video. He did a great job of using your video in the mix. nice demo of the RS09 as well!

  • you're in the Kutiman thru-you video!! # 3 did you see it yet?

  • now i've seen it. thanks for telling.

  • what do u thought about the remix ? .. I loved it and u were awesome there :P

  • what is that version of this where is color buttons?

  • the one with coloured buttons is the newer version...

  • Was in a very good new wave band in the 80's and we had one of these. It sounded great and blended in with the band perfectly. Sort of a moody cross between church organ and strings. We got a Juno sixty a little later, but I always thought the funky little black RS-09 sounded better and looked cooler. Analog keyboards had so much personality back then.

  • i totally agree with you. i like the analog sound of this little synth better than the sound of my juno too.

    thanks for your comment.

  • yes, these fat solina-type strings you don't get from a Juno.

On the other hand, the Juno-60 is a real polyphonic synth with more flexibility and great sounds!

  • Well done!

  • This sounds bloody awesome. They don't make synths that sound anywhere near this good these days. I was listening to demos of the Roland SH-201 earlier. It's a pile of shite! Roland need to start making analogue synths again.

  • A several million dollar turnover and a HUGE underground market for analogue and analogue modelling says they can keep their asses where they're at.

    I wasn't impressed by the 201 either.

  • @Dogboy73 the 80s was the best decade for music

  • @Dogboy73

They will never ever will get back into that scene, the production costs of analog gear are in no relation to the earnings. Analog sounds more powerful, and I can tell by experience, when it comes to interaction between the internal parts, or distortion, digital can only loose...

  • @Dogboy73 ..... and with any luck I'm just about to buy one :-)

  • so is it all full poly? not duo on strings only?

  • full poly!

  • I got one of this keyboard... same model but some of the control(ensamble, volumen and tune)are a bit diffrent. The brand logo and the model of the keyborad ("Roland and RS 09") are orange in mine.

    Cheers.

    Saludos.

  • First time I've heard the sounds of RS-09.Never know it sounded this nice.5 stars from me on your Prodigy,RS-09 and Juno106 demos.(I've got Roland Juno60 and SH-2, I love them).
