i remember this song was on a home taped cassette in my grandparents car and used to play it for us on road trips. so glad i found it! pistol packin mama too.

My mother played this for me when I was a very little kid....presumably as a tool demonstrating what kids shouldn't doI I still have the 78rpm....thanks for adding!

Just discovered that a new book on Betty has just come out,
called , appropriately, "Rocking Horse" (by Gene Arceri, and published by Bear Manor)). It's based on her taped interviews with the author, ....and reading through the delightful (and often heartbreaking) chapters, one can almost hear Betty's own voice telling her story.
Any Hutton fan will love this compact and telling inside look
of highlights in her career.
