The kid could have a learning disability, be autistic, or who knows......or maybe the kid doesn't have any cognitive deficits and thought the condom was a balloon (many 4 year olds can't make that distinction). Pre-schoolers at the day care center I worked at a long time ago were more curious for their own good at times (eating bugs, eating food off the floor, typical little kid stuff.) Hence, this little kid thought condom for balloon.
