@Tonneman Yes, I know it can. But its sequencer is so frustrating that I never got to making anything better than this track... I do all my work on my Mac now. This is one of my productions: watch?v=qh4Q6SJPtV0
@Tonneman This is the track I created, yes. I am producing all tracks for this artist. You can ask him yourself if you wish. And I can show you the GarageBand session and all sounds, in fact... but why are you in doubt?
@ArtemiyPavlov Not justify Artemiy. It is known that you've collaborated with Christian for it. Nevertheless your style is unmistakable ;) You both did great work!
Very good job. I'm a new user of the Fantom G. Question : how and wich effects are you using in this song ? I'm trying to do something like this, but I don't find how to do (sorry for my poor english).
I like this because its cool, and Im looking for real world solutions for playing live after 25 years... Looks like I can create music , my own music and run through a PA , and Im set..
I was at a dance a few nights ago.. I danced all night. I listened to what was being played.. Most of it could be created on the Roland and no one would no the difference.. That is a great thing for gigging in the real world where people who dance make up the musical direction for the night...
Yet another example of the brilliant potential sounds of the Great Roland g8 - and yes, within nano-seconds the monotous repetitive nature of most euro-trance dance beats/music is annoying and irritating to the extreme...I can still appreciate the AWESOME power of the Roland synth....Okay demo, too...
@ andresogorman the yamaha motif is very good, but I like the ease of use of the fantom G.... btw you can't judge the sounds over youtube, hearing it for real is different. the G sounds excellent! anyway, either of these workstations allow making your own sounds, samples and patches

@wolferwolferjan You don't understand even the first thing about music production. Many musicians are studio musicians who have no interest at all in performing in front of an audience.
@wolferwolferjan And you can't speak English, matey! :-) Go learn English, and how to respect other people's work. Don't forget that I have worked with Roland Corp. What can you say about yourself, huh?
Oh, and I am 29, you sound like you're 15. Although I am young, that is correct :-)

@cashkuler1 hey man, Fantom-G itself is a sound card ;-) It works as USB MIDI and USB audio interface, so I recorded digital sound into my computer directly from the Fantom-G. Very cool and convenient.
very nice bro. Can't wait to get this Synthesizer and record some industrial tracks on it, just thanking you for posting yourself running this synth through some of it's paces.
To Keybern: Sorry I might have gone too far with my replies.
But usually people who go and bash other's videos have some kind of an internal problem. A normal person would never go and post comments like you did, unless he is unhappy with himself.
I defend my video because it was a "quick demo" just as written, and the point was to show how the G works as a groovebox. If you don't get this - move over but do not leave dirt after yourself. The sounds that you heard are 100% made by me, just like the parts that I recorded - yes - with my very own fingers. Post something better that you personally did - if you can. So far the only thing you can show is zero respect for other's creative works. Good luck.
@ArtemiyPavlov , Hi there! I like how you customized your controllers ... I wna as u a question about the 16 pads. Can the pads be like the Korg M3s pads? Coz i like how Korg M3 can automatically assign chords on pads... so does the Fantom G have that ability on the pads? pls reply~
Wow... thats a cool thing! Dont know that there is a synthesizer from Roland like tihs. Whats about analog-like sounds like the tb 303 ? Can this synth simulate the filters like a real 303 or other analgo-synths??? This song was good, but I missed good filter-sounds.
By the way... where is the hardstyle in this video???
Take a look at my profile - I did live-synth-jams, too!
ye sweet keyboard man but your not playing hardstyle your playing hard house and electronica..the diff.hard house-you kept the melody going no build up or ownage part just constant melody hardstyle slow build with voices and bass for a minute or so then an owneage part with lots of bass
Don't worry, I know what hardstyle is ;-) In the description you should read I mean "hardstyle-ish" ;-) I have quite a few more hard tracks on the machine and I will try to post them soon.
This was a demonstration on how to program a synth to produce pre-fabricated sounds. Impressive, buy where's the musicianship? That's what those white and black keys are for.
My friend, I played all that stuff myself, not "programmed" it. So you're listening to a recording of a performance. Please apply a bit more thought and respect to others' creations when you post things like that. I can play with all 10 fingers and my nose too when needed ;-)
hi there. I am playing acoustic piano. I dont know much about technology keyboard, but i like this one and about to buy it. Well i would like to have a band so i can have backing tracks for my piano, but always playing myself. Can I get songs from my computers and put them in the keyboards, in order to support me as backing tracks when I am playing a piano song? Thank you expect ur reply
Some of our Roland Clan members also have Motifs, but they say that they're better at acoustic sounds, and Rolands are better at electronic/club sounds. Fantom-G is easier to use too, and has more effects processors than the XS, so you will have a more powerful mix. Also remember who invented the sound of the modern dance music - it was Roland with their TB-303, TR-808, TR-909 and other groove machines in 1980's. Roland still is the trendsetter for dance music sound.
Thanks man! Very cool to hear you like it this much. As of the Fantom-G price, it depends on the country, but is usually around 2000-2500 $ or € for the 61-key model.
Cool mate....Sounds pretty awesome to me...:o)

Thank you expect ur reply

my friend, i have bought a Fantom G6. Mind boggling. I hope that i can one day do all the tricks you can do with yours.

real nice. I hope to get the G6 or motif XS. Is any one better than the other for making trance dance tunes?

Some of our Roland Clan members also have Motifs, but they say that they're better at acoustic sounds, and Rolands are better at electronic/club sounds. Fantom-G is easier to use too, and has more effects processors than the XS, so you will have a more powerful mix. Also remember who invented the sound of the modern dance music - it was Roland with their TB-303, TR-808, TR-909 and other groove machines in 1980's. Roland still is the trendsetter for dance music sound.

LOL it's some REAL hardstyle for once! At least before the nu stuff took over the scene.

Thanks man! Very cool to hear you like it this much. As of the Fantom-G price, it depends on the country, but is usually around 2000-2500 $ or € for the 61-key model.
