Somehow it feels that you just put random bloody scenes to the song. Next time maybe you can try to make things match a bit? For example, "this odd town of Halloween" could've been paired with a scene of the village. And "everybody scream" could've been matched to someone screaming.

If it's blood you want, watch Elfen Lied. That's the bloodiest anime I've seen. Higurashi is good too, but it isn't as bloody.
