Check out the Hydro Classifier for gold, it's the newest way to classify your material and you do not have to run it through a sluice box to get the gold. It's the easiest one yet.
you might want to add holes to the middle part of the pvc pipe because the water seems to be flowing mainly on the sides and it might run a little bit faster that way.
JUst one thing. Remove the large size expanded metal from the top of the sluice. YOu want a section of slick plate before the riffles. I'm an experienced placer miner and mine owner.
@alizaderic Ummm....although I agree with you on the expanded metal all the way at the top of the sluice, there's no reason why you can't just use ribbed rubber matting all the way up top.....slick plate catches no gold.
Looks good, always satisfying when it works first time, keep it up, I did the same with a garden hose attachment and a pump attachment so duel purpose (home/field) but def has more pressure from the hose.

after i posted the comment i realised what it was, it seems to work very good, except i think that you should make a box exactly like this, just put more of an angle to it and then make chambers so that what goes through the slats stops when it gets to big to make it through, it will stop at that point, and eventually get it down to a much smaller screen, also make the chambers removeable so that there easy to empty..... just my thoughts, mabey ill make one... hope u find some gold!!!!

@polar600prox2 It's a sluice box. It's made for finding gold. Put the dirt in the top and let the water deal with the rest. Except clean up.
