I love how gold fumed glass looks like gold plating in normal light, but pink/purple when u put it up to a light!!

Is a rubbing alcohol-salt solution abrasive enough to take the gold fuming off of glass?

unfortunately i have used alcohol to take off gold fuming, accidentally, i recommend dilluting it ...

Not well! You need some oxygen in there to vaporize that metal. Glad you liked the tutorial though!
