Ugh, Q makes me sick!! All due respect to his talent but I can't respect him. He is not a good friend-I've heard him dog Ray Charles on the red carpet for the screening of 'Ray' and he has DEF dogged MJ saying all that crap about him shortly after he died. Michael came w/complete demos for ALL the songs he wrote AND composed. Q gets way too much credit for things he didn't do. I read he didn't want to keep Smooth Criminal either..WOW. Jackson's don't owe him anything and did HE ever thank MJ?

I can't understand why so many MJ fans and others think Q Jones is the one who made Michael Jackson. That's a joke! Michael already had the singing, dancing and songwriting ability since he was very young. Epic/CBS didn't even want Quincy Jones when Michael was working on the OTW album. It was MJ who fought to have QJ included. And QJ benefitted well, just as every other producer, writer, dancer, singer who worked with MJ did. Michael thanked Q many times over, so QJ should stop this nonsense!

@P0P53H Wow, people calm down! These two were equally talented and together they made the greatest music the world has ever known. Quincy deserves more credit than he's received in my opinion because I truly don't believe MJ would have become the star that he was without Quincy and vice versa. Don't rebuke the man. God knows Michael loved him.

Thank you Mr.Q for there's always a great master behind a great pupil. But you should have forgiven his will for independance that led to your separation and met Michael in London, march 2009 when he called you, at least for the crucifiction he was through and the huge soul he became.

Despite the horrible audio, the things said in this interview make it one one of the best on MJ and QJ.

Great Interview. Got the most information from him then any of the interviews he has done in the promo of the cd/book. Got some good info on his work with MJ and the fans. Real stuff not sound bites. Way to go. Love the hot sauce too!
