U have to have seriouse isssssuuues not to like this shit.....there is something wrong with ppl who cant get down to this! If I could get an implant of this song in my brain I would. All I would have to do is say "orbital, on" and that would be my auto tune. Yeah, sounds good to me. I will have to make sure I record this today so that I can hear it in my car. They are so frigen phenominal. I have to see them live.
Damn this song, i've heard it over 1,000 times and still every time it digs deep into my soul, and i find new storylines and movements with it... Love it love it love it...
btw, if anyone's interested, the video they're using in this youtube clip is from a docu called "koyaanisqatsi"
So, I'm heading to Thailand in late April and was looking for music to download for my IPOD when I came across this song on Pandora. I've never been a big orbital fan up until this song. I'll be listening to this enchanting number while on a train from Bangkok to Chiang Mai, watching the locals in the fertile crescent plant rice patties while majestic mountains loom in the distance piercing the clouds!
BRILLIANT! This is a fave tune of mine, I don't really know many of Orbital's other tunes, but this one, along with the album is on my MP3 player which originally was my mates, & once I bought the player off him, & checked out what was on there I found this... as soon as I heard it I thought it was fantastic :) Great video, & ironically the friend I bought the player off is a big fan of Baraka & recently bought a new version of it on DVD...Good stuff. Cheers!
wow, it's funny that you're video represents actually somewhat my personal visualisation of the song 'the girl with the sun in her head', the opener of In Sides. For that song i always visualised about an exotic sunny old culture like the Inca's.
this makes me wanna take a piss

suggestion: don't forget to listen to the sounds of the world as well. they add much to the silent landscapes.

another suggestion - get some sleep on the train, its a long ride!

Hello, JayC. Well, "like" is a very modest word for the way this hit me. :)
If you sneaked over to check me out, you would have seen that I have it on my channel Vlog. :D
I'm quite impressed with YOUR channel, and intend to get back over today and get through several more of your videos.
Peace/out. Nom

I felt the timeless beats of Adnan's seemed to match the sequences taken from the wonderful creation of Robert Fricke.
Credit should never be drawn away from the 2 artists who produced the material involved in the making of this.
Thank you for your comments.
I may look at GWSIH and see what I can find.
