I laughed when you said "この Terry's Chocolate Orange..." :3 Your Japanese accent sounds really good (I'm a learner too though so I can't be certain :P) Are you still learning it?
I'm nine months into studying the language ab initio at university and I love how much I can understand from listening and comprehend when reading the Japanese comments below. I shall echo the earlier poster and say that you've pretty much inspired me to strive ever higher on my course. You really set the benchmark for awesomeness. I miss your instructional videos and hearing about your progress! Hope we see plenty from you over the summer!
@nabusan Thank you so much! You've definitely made faster progress than I have with the language if you can understand most of this and read after 9 months, well done. It really means a lot when people say that I have inspired them, but I don't really feel like my Japanese is as good as it should be by now to be frankly honest. College hasn't really helped my progress much at all. Hopefully I will make some videos after my exams! :)
@tmrdrgz Ah same dude, university does a bit - but most I've found I'm doing almost all my crucial studying over summer privately. I've started my summer holidays now, which means cramming more into three months than I have all year long - hopefully the same for you, too! The summer's a great time to bring you up a few notches /my dorky-awesome idea of fun xD You'll be starting your uni applications this autumn, so good luck with that!
@SoyMuyErika Graciasss, no me dé cuenta que eres 17 también! Pero quién habla, Erika o Yassmin? jaja todavía no hablo japonés genial pero bueno, intento :)
たくさん勉強してきたみたいだね。 I was pleasantly surprised when I watched this video; you have a lot more confidence, you sound more fluent, your vocab has expanded and you didn't appear that 外人っぽい、 using fillers like ですね etc.
You're better at Japanese than I was when I was 17 - keep it up! Who knows how far you can go.
@tias90 Thank you Mattias, you don't know what it means to me for you to say that, it's made my day :) Of course it's full of errors but I just don't care now, it's not going to help me progress by dwelling on my mistakes. :)
@tmrdrgz It's good that you embrace mistakes. Don't fear making mistakes; it is from those mistakes which we learn and go forward. Well, that, and lots of study!
Have I mentioned how awesome you are?! Like seriously you are my inspiration man! I get to take Japanese next year in University and I am super excited!
