how do the missing links act on the road for daily driving situations?

@kauaiboy89 , I never had any problems with them on the street. They say the worst is when you are downhilling. They can and do un-hinge on steep down hills. I was use to it and it didn't bother me, but people watching thought I was going over. All in all I liked them

Awesome, thanx everybody...I finally ended with a softop, best value I could find, since the hardtop was nearly a softop due to the rust damage, I got mine 0 rust and as as factory as it could come, I might change it, lift it or whatnot, but with the rising gas prizes, I think I'll leave as is for now, and just do some light-duty off roading trails until thing even out...again thanx everybody for your help.

if you live where it rains alot or snows you might light the tintop. also the convertable lets all kinds of stuff in when your driving down the highway. but if you have a garage or its sunny the majority of the year then get a conv. i got the tintop and dont regret it.

OK So I decided to get a Sammy, now I've got two choices...Hardtop, Ragtop. Both are clean examples, and well cared for, nebody help with pro's and con's will be greatly appreciated.

I have a convertable/soft top... if you are going to use it as a daily driver as well as a mudder then i would choose hard top because the soft top is noisy and flaps in the wind over 35mph. I didn't have a choice but if i did i would go hard top. i like the looks and they are more structurally stable for mudding

i gotta hard top. i wuz gunna go soft top, but then i didnt want to get pissed off with it in the winter an having it flap around in the wind all the time, an i didnt want anybody to knife it an steal my recovery gear. i went a hard top an it is sweet

The Pitbulls are pretty bad ass on the trail. They lack in good road manners but offroad their badass. So far they have been really good in the snow too. The only negitive thing I can say is their not true to their sizeing. If you useually run 33's I'd get 35's

how do they compare to boggers in the mud? i know they are great in the rocks but how are they in the mud?

Their just a good all round trail tire. Mud is good, they clean out well. The thing I didn't like using Boggers on trail is side hilling. Boggers have no lateral hold. Rocker on the road tend to wander, you really want to keep both hands on the wheel.

I think its the 40 series.. Its an older one that I took off a friends Jeep. Probably a 2 chamber. I think the older ones were all 2

I couldn't see the best line when I was coming down and assumed I was where I came up. I was farther over and was alot steeper. All flexed out I can't steer
