Hence the line 'I am the son and the heir...etc'. He was also trying to say that we are all human we all need love so how can it be that because he loves another man that it could be considered wrong, hence why he says 'how can you say, I go about things the wrong way, I am human and I need to be loved.' That last bit is quite profound.

In actuality this isn't a bad cover it just doesn't have the same tempo as the original and it kind of detracts from the song being that this song is not intended to be upbeat in the least. All in all it does the original justice while giving tatu their own interpretation on it. Is it as good or better than the original? No. Honestly there's only one cover that could ever hold that distinction(Hendrix's version of All Along the Watchtower). So take it for what its worth.
