I saw them at comic-con and didn't really care because I never watched doctor who. But then a month later I started watching torchwood miracle day then the original and eventually DW and I loved it (and TW).

Hey i have a question about the show..... In episode 1, at the beginning we see the futur doctor being killed. Then he's alive ( present doctor ) and then we see sometimes that he dies in lake silencio, utah. Isnt it the name of the lake the futur doctor died in ?? Is that why he sent letters ?? Sorry for spoilers, but im a huge doctor who fan and i kinda figured out this. Not sure if im right though.

@rosetylerbiggestfan1 ok it's quite easy if you watched the last episode from last week wich i guess you did but i'll still answer it for people who will read our coments in the future without having the chance to see the episodes in question here .

So basically , we saw the death of the doctor in ep 1 in Amy's timeline wich was 200 years in the past for the doctor ( 90x years old to 110x years old ) he then died , knowing he would on that date . Then the doctor from Amy's time line

(the 90x years old one) took his place to continue his timeline without knowing at that moment that his future self went back in time in order to die in his own stead . As time passed , the doctor knowing the date and hour of his death , he decided to play a little trick and started investigating on the reasons of his death , then finally accepting that the death of the doctor was a set event decided to show up on the date and hour and die , just like we saw in episode 1 .

Spoiler of the last episode from this point on : The doctor didn't wanted to die , but knowing it was a locked event , was forced to accept it and used the robot controlled by miniaturised people of the episode 7 or 8 '' Let's kill Hitler '' . So basically the robot took the doctor's form and died in the place of the doctor who was shrinked inside the robot . So the doctor was present and got shot by Melody Pond ( River Song's real name ) dressed as an appollo 11 astronaut .

But the fact that the robot got hit instead of the mini doctor saved his life . So the doctor died on that day , but he also survived and was able to continue traveling . Karen Gilian has signed for the next series , so I'm pretty sure we will see more of Amy , Melody and Rory as the compagnions of the doctor , I'd say it was a nice turn of events for the fans and a nice serie long cliffhanger. The real problem is the fact that the next serie is delayed ...yeah that's bullshit

It's true. If I saw Matt Smith walking around I wouldn't go crazy as much as i'm loving him as Doctor Who.
