hey so i downloaded industrial craft from your guide, but i cant make any of the pipes or gears from buildcraft.. but i have the oil fountian spawns.. so.. did i miss something?

@shortisgood13 Weird. Sounds like the core install worked, but the other packs didn't. Try installing the alternate packs again.

Nice videos so far. I keep saying, no, put it on the Top, that how it is input.lol Also for the furnace, the exit is either side. Also if you like, you can add another Mod, Craftguide Mod, It make easy find recipes and it easy to install.Note, read up on the pipes, there more then you know. they have function that make it easy to sort. And the craftable table is nice idea.

I once made a buildcraft machine that completely drained an entire lava lake and stored it as fuel for my cobblestone generators and automated crafting tables..id be interested to see how that would work with IC2 powering large parts of it

Look for the buildcraft/industrial craft intergration mod. It allows some power sources from each mod to power the other mods machines :) Its called BuildCraft-IndustrialCraft crossover Mod. Worth a look?

Be careful when putting different ores in the same contraption. If for example the furnace is still smelting iron dust, and then the macerator produces a different dust faster, the other dust can fall out of the pipe due to not being accepted on the other side. You might wanna experiment with pipe loops to "buffer" things within the contraption.

The Gold Nugget is an item that was first introduced in the 1.9 Pre-release. These are obtained by killing Zombie Pigmen, and can be crafted into Gold ingots, making Gold a renewable ore. A gold nugget can be crafted with a melon slice to make a Glistering Melon.

Glistering melon is a non-edible item crafted from a Gold Nugget and Melon Slice, used mainly for imbuing a potion with health restoration effects.
