They had goggles on they clearly knew they were for falling in. the cox jumped in instead of trying to help balance the boat? climbing on the boat while it if tipping to that side?

@jesse2139 I don't think they meant to fall in, but it was there own faults. At about 0:18 they started rigger dipping, a stupid thing to do, which is when you pull the handles up and down so the boat starts to rock. This caused strokes blade to come out, but a combination of him leaning towards his rigger and number 2 not holding his handle level, not even holding it in fact, caused the boat to tip onto its side. From there it was a losing battle.
