  • Really? Is it that cheap? what kind of phones do they have?

  • I just would like to know whether, like one or two of the other cellphone companies, straighttalk offer any specials for senior citizens? I'd appreciate some information about this. Thank you

  • Great phone for college age student. Got my son one while he’s away at school and I’m paying half of what they wanted for the unlimited plans they were offering at Best Buy. The coverage is national and he’s studying in Pittsburgh. I’ve never had trouble getting in touch with him and he tells me the service there is great.

  • I have been with Straight Talk for a while but you have to try it yourself to agree to my comment. I did not believe everything they wrote, so I visited Wal-mart to check the deals. I bought a Straight Talk cellphone and an incredible plan per month for $45 a month unlimited. I am so glad I switched because now I have extra cash to pay my other bills. It's great just give it a try.

  • I purchased my straighttalk about 18months ago. It is still going strong and the cost is phenominal at only $45 unlimited time on talk, text and data. In my line of work I rely on my cellphone all the time and with straighttalk I know exactly how much I am going to spend in the month - only $45!.

  • yeah i agree with this lil laaaaaaaaaaaaady. she knows wazzzzzup. Straight talk is that good stuff easily better than my old provider. Can't beat the deal that straight talk offers. 45 dollas for a great phone with no dropped calls. If you can beat that you know something that i guess that i dont.

  • $45 for unlimited texts, data and minutes is such a bargain! and if you get your boss at work to split it with you then it is really nothing. makes sense for your boss as well because then he can budget exactly how much he/she will spend on employees cell ohone bills each month and not have to rely on you tallying it up properly!

  • I found at Wal-mart a cellphone that goes with the use and plan I need. I have expend a lot of money in cellphone company with contracts and going over rminute charges. I can wait to pay off what I owe to have all of my family switch to Straight Talk because they have 1 yr. more of their plan. I have save almost $200 with ST.

  • I find Straight Talks Facebook page extremely helpful and quick. Straight Talk offers great deals my favourite is the $45.00 unlimited plan with the auto refill option.

  • Good deal but they need to back it up with better customer service. The phone staff is weak.

Good thing their Facebook page has support people that actaully know what they're doing . Just go their Facebook page for support and don't call anybody!

  • I didn't believe that there could be such a thing as not getting a cellphone bill. Now that I am on straighttalk there are none of those unpredictable bills in my life anymore. I know that I will purchase a card for $45 and that will give me unlimited talk, text and data. I also enjoy being in charge of my own phone and not being tied down to a contract

  • @TheGwmichael Not only all you said but the savings are great....I've saved over $50.00 dollars this last year and that's a lot of of money to me! I look back at the days when I had a contract and my cell phone bill was over $100.00 a month and I can't believe the money I wasted...I could kick myself!!

  • There is nothing better than not getting a monthly bill for cellphone use. Paying the 45 dollars a month is really simple and I can talk and text for as much as I want! Not to mention that there are no hidden fees or any contracts to sign either.

  • Straight talk is definitely the way to go when you want the best unlimited plan out there. The 45 dollar a month unlimited plan is great and it has no contracts, no monthly bills, or hidden fees! It also the cheapest plan that gives you the best coverage out there!

  • tomspeckle i hope you been to walmart by now.straight talk will give you a straight forward and simple deal. you pay $45 a month and they will give you unlimited talk, text and data, a cheap or a fancy phone, which ever you wish, and then.......happy cellphone days.....

  • Haha wow - you really are a fan? I have gotta check this unlimited deal out some more. $45 a month for unlimted minutes, texts and data? Definitely sounds like worth a look into next time I am at Walmart..

  • I love straight talk. Been a straight talk fan since I have been birthed, jk, but really straight talk has done a great job by me. Straight Talk offers great rates and prices. You really cant beat a straight talk deal. Straight talk is the deal.

  • When l was doing my prepaid research on what prepaid plans where out there I noticed that Straight Talk offered the most benefits on their $45 unlimited plan compared to their competitors. They don't charge an activation fee, they supply unlimited mobile web and e-mail and free 411 calls, they don't charge texting surcharges, there's no overages, they don't send statements and they don't charge a cancellation fee. ST only gives you the good stuff and no bad stuff.

  • Just so that you know, and I am sure that you will never need it, not only does Straighttalk not charge a connection fee but they also don't charge a cancellation fee. Some contract companys really make a fortune in the fees they charge for cnacellations

  • I saw this deal in Walmart and figured I'd do more research online and looks like my thoughts are confirmed: this deal is for real! I saw the phones in Walmart and they actually aren't shoddy, cheap phones, they're run of the mill contemporary cell phones with cameras and every capability any other phones from major carriers. Price is unbeatable, I'll be switching very soon.

  • @cindyherm1 Really? Is it that cheap? what kind of phones do they have?

  • I've just had so many great experiences with Straight Talk since my contract thankfully ended and I'm going to keep using ST's plans because they offer the most advantages than any other prepaid cell phone company's plans. ST doesn't charge a connection fee when you first get started and there are free calls to 411 on both the $30 & $45 plan. On the $45 plan ST offers free unlimited mobile web and e-mails and free calls to 411 which some other prepaid unlimited companies don't provide.

  • I think Straight Talk is great too. Awesome service that gives me control over my monthly bills. I have the $45 unlimited plan which means I can make as many calls as i like, texts and data are also unlimited. I'm considering giving Straight Talk plans as gifts for the holidays this year. I would recommend to anyone!

  • You're absolutely right on the service. I've had straight talk for about a year and I've never had a dropped call. go straight talk!

  • With Straight Talk you receive your savings right away. By switching you will have freedom to make calls anywhere you want. The $45 a month unlimited plan is the best for the amount of calls I make. There's a planfor $30 a month with 1000min. talk/text and 30mb data use and free 411 calls. What more gifts you want, it's a great company.

  • Last year I switched to Straighttalk as my present to myself. This year I was able to buy the Nokia smart phone because I had saved so much money by being on straighttalk rather than a contract. I suggest that you consider Straighttalk not only as a gift for others but one for yourself as well and just save and save throughout the year

  • Like my boddy ms Ashely, an other Straight Talk happy customer is advising to the community, Staright talk makes for a really great xmas gift. Think about it. $45 for unlimited service, really affordable phones and even smart phones and you will be giving the gift of savings...there's nothing better than that!

  • All the videos are so real because I have tried it myself and switch to Straight Talk. You will start saving from the minute you buy your way to savings. The plans are economical. I have the $45 a month unlimited plan and that is all you pay a month. No contracts and no surprises. Happy Holidays to all as I feel so very glad I switch to Straight Talk.

  • I agree with this video. $45 a month with Straight Talk Unlimited for calls, text, web and 411 is actually an unbelivable deal. Another positive is the reception. My Straight Talk phone has the best reception that I have ever had.

  • Amazing savings you will have if you switch to Straight Talk. The $30 a month plan has 1000 min. of talk/text and 30mb of data, free 411 calls and increible the best of all NO CONTRACTS. For this Holiday Season you can give one to a family member so they can save as well. Walmart has it and I read is the top selling cellphone they have, Straight Talk that is.

  • After switching from an $80/month contract fee the savings you make using the Straight Talk $30/month plan is oh so sweet. To save $600 a year makes for a great holiday budget boost don't you think?

  • I swear, sometimes I feel like Walmart is the only place where I save any money. I fell like they're the only place that Isn't trying to cheat me. Lol! Now I'm even saving money on my phone service by buying my Straight Talk cards at Walmart.

  • This Straight talk cellphone brought a jingle song to my ears plus lots of savings. I switched and have saved a lot. No annual contract, and no hidden surprises. I have the $45 a month unlimited plan and I could not believe the savings in the bank. At Walmart you will find it, but first read comments and invetigate the great deal you will have in your hands, like I have. Happy Holidays.

  • @maury24100 A happy holiday is in store for all us Straight Talk users....the savings are going to buy an awful lot of gifts and goodies! I feel sorry for all the folk still on contract...such a waste of money when you see all we get on ST for only $45.00 a month!

  • I couldn't agree more with fadotty! She has hit the nail on the head. I have straighttalk and all my contract, roaming and exhorbatent cell-phone charges are a thing of the past. I also have the $45 a month unlimited plan.which has saved me a lot of money. Straighttalk rules ok!!

  • also love my new straight talk phone, the samsung finesse. i got it with the unlimited plan for $45 a month and think i really got it right this time. i have unlimited talk, text and data, free 411 calls, no roaming fees, no longterm commitment and lots of fun abusing my new phone. i am in full control of my cellphone spendings now, and need not worry anymore about huge bills at month end. nice and simple. and straight talk is definately the cheapest prepaid cell phone provider around

  • Switching to Straight Talk was the best desicion I ever made. It has great service and coverage and I only pay $45 a month. Now my mom needs a cellphone badly, I think it's time she joins the rest of the world and I'm getting her a Straight talk for xmas. Sweet!

  • @traviskeller1 good to hear you say that, because I just saw a straight talk commercial on tv and came online to do a little more research. It seems like a really good deal, $45 for unlimited everything? with my contract I'm paying about double that!

  • I love the RAZR - I didn't even know you could get it for such a good price with Straight Talk!

  • At the moment Straighttalk will be running a special on Black Friday. You can get a Samsung T55 plus a $45 airtime card (unlimited 30 days) and both will only cost you $45 - This sure is a christmas bargain

  • The straighttalk Nokia 6790 is the best value for money that straighttalk have offered me. I am unseperatable from my phone now and the plan is just $45 unlimited a month

  • I can really recomend the Straight Talk unlimited plan with a Nokia 6790 smart phone. It is really great and the extra smart phone features are amazing

  • I love my straight talk phone. It has everything that my old contract phone had and more! The ST plan is just great and I have been using the $45 a month plan with no problems. Unlimited everything is great because I can talk and text as much as I want without going over any minutes or anything. ..

  • I'm a Straight Talk customer and love it! I save lots of money every month. Now I know you know that! but did you know that Walmart is having a sale on Black Friday for Straight Talk Samsung t255? aha! well it's one of those amazing sales you need to get up early for, but for $45 you get the phone with a 45 dollar air card, that's a free phone in my book! the perfect gift for a love one on xmas morning.

  • like she said, it really is nice to control your monthly bill. I use to have so many extra charges for going over my limit and hidden fees but not now that i have a phone with Straight Talk i know the price is fixed and i have one less thing to worry about.

  • DEFECTIVE PHONES: Straight Talk is selling defective phones, and they know it, yet they continue to sell them.. They will replace it for free if you are willing to wait to weeks and have kept up with your reciept long enough.. DO NOT buy the $39 LG phone i am on my 5th.

  • I love straight talk. The service is just excellent and I am definitely controlling my monthly bill. I have the 1000 texts, 1000 minutes and 1000 mb of data transfer for just 30 bucks a month and I love it. No contracts, no hidden fees, no worries!

  • I am thinking about getting a straight talk phone but I don't know much about them. Whenever I am in Walmart I always see some people looking at them. $45 for an unlimited plan seems really affordable but do they have decent phones?

  • In the past few months when money has been so tight straighttalk has been a great help to me. I have been able to budget properly for my phone as there are no hidden costs like you get with a contract phone. I have got myslef a reasonable phone and the $30 plan. This plan suits me just fine as it gives me 1000minutes of talk and text time and I find that I don't even use it all up

  • When my daughter came to me asking for a cell phone i was wondering how all these parents were managing to foot the bill. Dont get me wrong i think its important for my daughter to be able to contact me in an emergency but i didnt think i could afford a plan for her. To make a long story short another parent told be about straight talk..i got her a simple phone and the $30 plan which is more than enough. Its a great phone and service at an affordable rate

  • Straighttalk is a real money saver. Since I cancelled my contract and got straighttalk unlimited plan I have been saving money (and lots of it) and am only spending $45 for thirty days - I even put my kids on the $30 plan each I was so impressed

  • Where has Smart Talk been all my life?! If i'd had it in highschool, i wouldnt have had all those arguments with her over the bill each month! lol! I lost so much money out of my allowance because of my old plan. ;(

  • Straight Talk is the best deal I have ever had. It is amazing that I can make far more calls than previously at a much lower price. For $45 a month I get all the calls and texts I want.

  • I think is great we are all sharing out experiences here. I mean, Straight Talk really changed completely the way I look at prepaid cellphones. I switched more than a year ago once I got to get free of my tmobile chains,,, i mean, contract, and I'e been saving money since. $45 a month for unlimited, it really doenst get any better than that. But now I'm keeping my eyes open for back friday, I'm sure walmart is haveing great deals and I want to get a ST for my sister!

  • My folks have been phoning me every day from their retirement village ever since I've bought them the $45 unlimited plan. At least if I go away on holiday for a week I don't have to worry if they need anything because with the unlimited talk they don't hesitate to phone to tell me what they need and how they are doing. What makes me happy is to know they can talk to their friends they've known for so many years for as long as they want and not have to driver there because they are too old.

  • It's nice to hear a person explain why straight talk has worked for them. I really wanted to get a preapid phone because costs and fees and contracts were absolutely outrageous. Straight talk has been the best provider for me in prepaid phones for sure. The service realy is great. I mean its on the verizon network which has by far the best coverage. Truthfully. you really can't go wrong with 45 bucks.

  • Head to Walmart and they have the best deal in cellphone The Straight Talk. For $45 a month the plan is unlimited and for 30 days you can talk all you want. Another economical plan is the $30 a month with 1000 minutos to use as needed. I am not advertising nor work for any company, as a matter of fact, I am out of a job like lots. I have to save and the way to do it is with Straight Talk.

  • Straight Talk cellphone has been great since the moment I search information on it. The other cell company had hidden charges, not with Straight Talk, had a contract for 2 yrs. not Straight Talk, for the holidays is a perfect gift to have and give. Several plans gives you options like for $30 a month with 1000 min, and my plan is $45 a month unlimited all features. Start saving please, do not give your needed money away.

  • I found that Straight Talk offers value for money with regards to its service and offering. It also indirectly helps the economy as I have been reading most of these comments and everyone seems to be saving lol.

  • Great testimonial from a great phone service. Straight talk has done right by me and mine an i am thankful for that. Straight talk seems to have the competitive edge as it runs on the verizon network. Straight talk is my fav.

  • I bought a Straight Talk Samsung R451C cell phone & ST prepaid $30 plan on the spur of the moment at Walmart because I was told that I can save $50 a month compared to being on a contract. Well I've now paid my contract cancellation fee of $180 and I will make up this money within 3.5 months of being on Straight Talk. I can't wait to see the extra $50 sitting in my account every month.

  • Straight Talk have a new Nokia 6790 smart phone for $200.00 so I'm getting it for my husband for Christmas and he's going to love it! He travels a lot and with the $45.00 a month unlimited plan he can call home every day!

  • I have recently moved to New York and left all friends and family behind, the Straight Talk $45.00 option allows me unlimited talk, nation wide coverage and the most reliable uninterrupted call options, who wants to pay for dropped calls and bad connections.

  • Oh my! there's a lot of prepaid options out there! This one looks like a good one, the phones certenly look nice and it seems to be a fair price for unlimited, only $45. wow. I've been searching to buy a cellphone for sometime, but I can't make up my mind. Straight Talk is a good option.

  • It really is a phone for all ages. For the student that can't afford to pay top dollar for expensive cellphone straight talk has a great plan for $30 a month. Or if you want to go all out, they even have a $45 a month plan that gives you unlimited calls nationwide, unlimited minutes, free 411 and unlimited data. And the best thing is that there are no contracts, monthly bills, nor hidden fees!

  • I support Zone40's sentiment that when you've got a family member studying or working in another state it makes perfect financial sense to buy straight talk's $45 unlimited plan because phoneing to another state on a regular prepaid plan would cost a fortune. My daughter who also sudied in another state last year has also just started working there now so we still buy the unlimited plan to talk and text and send photo's to each other as much as we want. It's really great

  • great plans from straight talk. i got the $45 a month unlimited plan and am super happy with it. i am single and tend to chat and text a lot to all my friends. on contract i used to have high bills at times not knowing what all the charges were for. no more of that. with straight talk i have no hidden fees, no overages, but great nationwide cover, no roaming fees, and not one dropped call yet. i am in control of my phone spendings and will never go contract again

  • I have put my daughter who is at college in a different state onto the straighttalk unlimited plan. It costs $45 a month and she can phone nationwide for as long as she wants and whenever she wants. This has been great in keeping us together

  • Controlling your monthly bill with cellphone are no longer necessary because Straight has no monthly bills with no contracts!

  • My family is happy, we all switched to Straight Talk and SAVED. No contracts, and hassle free. I shopped around a lot, and with this great deal with unlimited text and a non-scary bill at the end of the month, if it works for me and the family, believe, it will do the same for you. Straight Talk Cellphones number one.

  • Just switched my entire family to straight talk after doing some research and checking it out at WalMart. Between the 4 of us we are saving over $160/mo. Even my son in college hasn't had any problems...the national network was a huge deal since hes away at school.

  • I have the straighttalk unlimited plan and boy does it work for me. For$45 a month ,which I pay at Walmart, I get unlimited use of my cellphone for talking, texting and web which is nationwide too. I no longer have the worry of getting one of those scarey phone bills at the end of the month. I know that I am in for $45 with straighttalk and that is all - nothing is hidden!

  • My mom has this plan and it works really well for her. She chose the $30 a month plan with 1000 minutes, 1000 texts, and 1000 mb of data a month! She doesn't text that much so this plan is just perfect for her. I think I am going to try the unlimited plan for $45 a month :)

  • I also chose the Razr and it was more reasonable than if I had chosen it on a contract deal. There really is not logic in being on contract anymore - unexpected bills at the end of the month, high start up and cancellation costs. Straight Talk takes away all of that!

  • The Samsung qwerty slider is the answer to my kids dreams and the $45.00 a month for them to have unlimited calls, texts and web access is the answer to mine as I can control the budget with no nasty surprises!

  • My mom got me this phone a couple of weeks ago for when I entered college. It does everything I need it to do, good service from Verizon, texts send well, great internet, and it's all costing my mom only 45 bucks.

  • It is great being in control of my phone bill, expecially when it is only $45 a month for unlimited time, text and data. I chose my phone from a range of straighttalk phones at walmart (great price and great designs) and now I am on the $45 plan and have been saving money eversince I made the swop to straighttalk.

  • I love being able to control my bill. I even got my son one of the $45 unlimited plans and I never have to worry about anything he does with the phone. There is no contract either so if he gets bad grades in school I can just cancel the plan which is good motivation lol.

  • Yeah I agree with almost everything. It certainly does make the most sense to budget using pepraid. And there are plenty pre paid deals to choose from. But none of them offer unlimited talk, text, and data for $45. Have I mentioned nationwide coverage and free roaming!

  • Straight Talk has really given me peace of mind with my cellphone. I was getting these monthly bills that was just unreal and I was really unhappy. I love ST because there is no monthly bills, no contracts, and for just $45 a month i get unlimited talk, text, web, and free 411!

  • Totally agree with all of the posts below. I don't think people realize how much money they can save and still get essentially the same features (unlimited data plans!) as the contract plans but without an annoying contract and small print. If you're looking for a way to tighten up then get rid of that contract.

  • I'm a huge fan of straight talk. I have the $45 a month deal and its great. I use my phone a lot for work so my job gives me extra $50 a month to cover any excess cell phone charges. That covers my whole cell phone bill. So essentially, I'm not paying at all for a cell phone!

  • Pretty amazing. I have this service and it's a great way to save money on something you could easily spend 2 or 3 times as much for. I love the fact that there's no contract too. And no credit chex. LOL!

Text and talk endlessly for 30 bucks a month? Yes!!

  • What this woman says is dead right. I am on the $45 deal. I have saved a lot of cash on monthly contracts which always seem to have a surprise hidden cost which adds up the $. With straighttalk I pay $45 a month and get unlimited time

  • I couldn't agree more with this woman! I am in between jobs right now and needed to cut back on expenses, so I signed up for Straight Talk and got the LG290C. For $30 a month I get everything I need, 1000 texts, minutes, and even 30MB of data. And I don't feel like I'm living in the stone age either. I like my slider phone and its camera. And since Straight Talk uses Verizon, I never have to worry about being in an out of service

  • Agreed with this vdo, the price is right with StraightTalk. Unlimited talk/text/web for $45 is actually an unbelivable deal. The icing on the cake is the reception. My StraightTalk phone has the best reception of any other phones I've owned previously.

  • I am sure the Razr is good, but i reccomend the LG phone that straight talk offers. Straight Talk really does help you control your monthly bill as there are no hidden fees. When I was on the prowl for a new phone i was very happy to find the straight talk brand at walmart.

  • I also had a Razr and it is a seriously snazzy phone to be able to get at such a good price. Straight Talk makes other providers look like absolute con-artists for charging the prices that they do for phones!

  • Yeh the advert and this video are true!! I have the straight talk deal of $45 per month with unlimited nationwide talk, text and web. Nothing can beat this offer and the coverage and service are spot on as well - I dont think I will ever switch from straight talk

  • When I saw an ad for Straight Talk the first time I thought "can't be true" but it is! Perfect coverage through Verizon, great phones and unlimited calling, texting and web access for only $45.00 per month...it's such a great deal and I'm saving a fortune!

  • I also got the razr, great phone and there are obviously huge savings with ST. But my best thing about Straight talk is the amazing coverage!

  • I really like the Straight Talk $30 prepaid package that gives you 1000 minutes talk time, 1000 texts and 30MB of data for 30 days service. I find with about 30 minutes and 30 texts a day that is more than enough time to chat with your hubby and kids everyday to make sure everyone is alright and make arrangements on the phone with dentists, and lift clubs for kids etc.. $30 is really great value for money and I can control this cost not the cost control me.

  • yes, budgeting is made so much easier with Straight Talk. $45 a month. no more, no less, i always know now where i stand with my finance. it is also perfect for the kids, no nasty surprises at the end of the month for me anymore. i can chat away to friends and family without the worry if i overdid my budget. thank you Straight Talk

  • Just made the jump from postpaid to prepaid, and it's a really odd feeling knowing that I've paid for the month, there'll be no surprises coming my way with a bill and I don't have to constantly keep tabs on my usage. I went with the Straight Talk unlimited plan and I'm still blown away that for $45, I have unlimited everything!

  • I'm also telling everyone i know about this deal. Straight Talk is simply the best way to save while still getting unlimited service on the best network. Can't be beat!

  • I highly recommend this phone to people that don't want all the luxury ooh's and ahh's that wireless cell phones have today. My parents got this phone for themselves and they have saved over $100 a month by just making the switch to Straight Talk!

  • Not everyone has time to surf the net for hours to do comparison shopping so it's such a pleasure to go to Walmart in your lunch hour and get a great service like Straight Talk...lovely phones and a $45.00 per month plan with unlimited calls, texts and data...my kids are over the moon!!

  • I completely agree with this lady, above all its good value and clear pricing. The phones and plans are reasonably priced and you know exactly what you're paying for. I've also told all of my friends and family about this, they're all pretty bored of hearing about it :)

  • As a father of three, I have to be careful with excessive spending. I use straight talk also as the service is reasonable and the reception is AMAZING.

  • We have two kids in college and had them on our contract and their bills were frightening! We've now got them on the Straight Talk unlimited plan and boy what a relief not to cringe when the cell phone bill arrives!

  • What's great about Straight Talk is that for only only $45 / month you get total peace of mind - you don't have to worry about reaching your limit of "X" amount of texts, talk minutes & web access during the month - you know the sky's the limit and you don't have to look at your statement every month as you would on a contract to see what extra charges have been hidden or added to your package deal and since I've used ST for over a year I have not had 1 dropped call, just good reception.

  • Serious money-saver! this plan is awesome because there is no way you can get that many minutes anywhere else for so little AND they have kick-ass network coverage!!! recommended!!

  • Bough straight talk card activated on 7/24/10 and getting you don't have enough fund msg. customer service can't fix it and i'm out phone for 48hrs due to technical difficulty. NOT THE FIRST TIME I GET A LOUSY SERVICE..

  • @warlocknv agree

  • Straight Talk saves me money too... I also get better service than i used to get with At&t!

  • Straight Talk. saves me money with my 2 teenagers and their texting!
