Make sure that you drop scissors before turn lights on, cause there is a bug on game, if you try to pick it after that its possible that the game not show the scissors. Is it a bug?

I didn't do MOST of what was in the video to win the game. I went to the bathroom and used the video camera to see the basement door. Went down the steps used the flaslight to find the lever and only the hammer head to turn on light (never found the hammer handle). Met doctor, went to demon rooms, picked up paper pieces and highlighted words. Never did the pentagram, desk drawer, computer, scissors, safe, etc. I did do the dizzy room thing very early in the game so maybe that was the key????
