  • Great video keep up the good work.

  • thanks for the reply .. I see what you mean .. it is not really a review but more of an introduction .. my mistake ... I can see that you know your stuff so look forward to more videos and so reviews as well.

  • I don't get why we need to watch you unpack the camera if this is a review. I like the comparisons to other models for judging the actual size. Not to be overly critical but to me a review should be more than telling us what we can read on the spec sheet .. like your experience and opinion of usability, image quality, movie quality, etc. But appreciate your efforts.

  • @gchamp727 Thanks for the feedback. Note that I didn't call this a review in the title. If I'm just opening the box calling it a review wouldn't be right. A lot of people do like the box opening videos, though. When I do a real review it's in writiing, with lots of sample photos and you'll find it on the PhotographyREVIEW Web site :-)

  • GH1 at the crack near perfect. But i don't know how to solve the problem about HDMI HI i am chinese .Give me a hand.

  • omg thank you you explained the fps thing...

    at 720p its 60fps

    at 1080p its only 24fps

thumbs up if you think this info is important

  • @DannyVss Why the hell do u want my thumb?

  • @stuntmaster500 rah rah rah rah

  • I'm stepping up from the canon sx20is. I have considered the g12 and s95, but Should I get this one or save a few more dollars and get the lumix gh2 out in november? I heard the new gh2 has slow motion playback...

  • wow that is not worth the price! i could get a nikon d300s body only for 1189!

  • @ithree6mafia They're very different cameras. If you value light and compact and video is important, then the GH1 is a far better camera than the D300s. If low light shooting and stills are your top priority, then the D300s is definitely the better choice.

  • @PhotographyREVIEW Actually i know several people that make videos with the GH1 using very fast Bolex lenses and it performed better than then the Nikon.

The micro four thirds camer has way more lens choices available and if you use a c-mount lens it weighs less than half of what the Nikon would

  • @PhotographyREVIEW do you know what is the highest memory card that this takes?

  • @ithree6mafia Nikon would only beat it if you needed to do sports photography or take photos of fast moving objects

  • i really like this camera....but i cant help but think 10yrs down the line am i going to be able to say that was a well spent $1500 dollars

  • That's great! Please visit our Web site and write a review for your camera!

  • Excellent video John! Very professional and I like how you gave your own personal opinion on it ! :-)

  • @alexosh1234 - argh - don't tell me it's professional! You'll just force me to look more like a street person and mumble so you can't hear what I say ;-)
