autocad/solid works for technical 3d, use blender for the pretty 3D looks :)

I find that it can be a little temperamental, but I agree I like it way better for 3D. But Solidworks is even better!

The basic program is the same with changes in 2007 to 3D and in 2008 to drafting tools such as annotation scaling.

If your a student, download it from a torrent site. Fuck Autodesk, if you don't intend using it for business purposes and you are just using it for learning, then why should you have to pay 100s of £$£.

We screen record using Camtasia Studio. That is what makes the yellow highlighted cursor.

autocad 2007? thats bloody expensive on the open market, but if your a stufent and required to have it, it's cheaper

Autodesk has a Student community site (Google it), where you can download many of their programs for free. If you're enrolled at a school, ask your teacher to sign up and get you a link. I did it for all my students, and they got the software for free (legally).
