u shouldve gotten the 8600gt 256mb ddr3,i had this 512 version and i wasnt happy with it so i swapped it for the ddr3 edition and theres quite a huge dif in performance...but u got a hd4830 now right?

You should try to get 2 more GB of RAM instead of a single 512mb. That's compromising the performance, it's always better to use it in pairs.

Actually, I got 3GB of RAm but Windows XP just shows 2.5GB O.O. I heard that XP supports up to 3.3GB or 3.5GB even 4GB or something

I tried to enable the Memory Mapping in BIOS but it was already enabled. Also the PAE but it keeps saying 2.5GB

If someone knows how can I get the full 3 GB, just let me know :)

you need x64 architecture (XP or Vista 64-bit) to recognize over 4 gb, XP will only recognize 2.5-3.25 gb at the most on 32 bit.

4 gb including the GPU memory....so ig you have a 512mb on GPU you can have 3.5gb of RAM but its again cut i duno y...you should get 3gb atleast do you have a 1gb video card?

XP 64-bit supports upto 8 GB RAM. 32bit doesnt support more than 4GB and doesnt even utilize above 3 GB. i may be wrong,

Xp 32-bit support max 3 GB Ram .. My friend has 4 GB Ram in his system and has XP SP 3 .. and the problem is .. that in win he has only 3 GB .. in xp 32-bit CANNOT read 4GB :(( :D

Dude, that's the Showtime mode. You can activate it anytime. Just press the D key with some boost gauge filled. I don't know if all the cars can do that.

I tried my USB shitty joypad and no response. For now, the Xbox 360 Controller and and some Logitech controller and steering wheels work. But using the keyboard is not difficult.

Check if the SSOA option is disabled, because that thing eats SHITLOADS of FPS (press F1 or F2 in pause menu to cycle to the different menus and check the video settings) Or back on desktop, check the config.exe of the game and reduce some quality.

One more thing: never trust in the minimum specs.

Hey man! Muy buen video y muy buen juego. Yo lo acabo de empezar a jugar y está genial. Una pregunta bastante idiota, tal vez... ¿cómo diablos se sale del juego? Es que no veo cómo salir y tengo que hacerlo con Alt+F4 XD

En el menu de pausa, usa F1 y F2 para circular a traves de los diferentes menus (Mapa, Online, Opciones...) en Opciones esta la opcion de Abandonar.

Una cosa mas, si llegas a averiguar como cambiar el idioma del juego, me avisas por favor. No me gusta español de los juegos :P

Actually, yes. It's not difficult. But I guees it's easier and more confortable with a joypad.

There's no too many actions with the car (you basically use A for Accelerate, Z for Brake, Ctrl for Hand Brake and Shift for Boost). So you can play with keyboard with no problem.

I have a USB Joypad but I haven't tested it yet. Probably it's not compatible. Gonna check that later.
