I've been waiting for this review. When I was a kid, this was one of my favorite games on the Gameboy (also loved Links Awakening, Kirby's Dreamland, and Tetris) I still have this game, and still play it regularly... often when I'm pooping.

LOL @ dot matrix printer reference!! I loved also how even after you ripped off the holes on each side of the paper, it still had crazy dimensions. LIke a single sheet was around 10x16. Sorry, just remembered how much those printers sucked!! Great review!!

I remember R.C. PRO-AM for the NES. I played it at a friend's house and he had the large Nintendo joystick ("The Advantage" I think it was called.) That joystick really made for the turning to be easier than the d-pad. How is the turning using the d-pad on the portables?

I use to play this day and night, nonstop for days on end. I blew through countless batteries playing this. I went under the covers with a flashlight to play this cause I just had to beat that next race. I pray to the Gaming Gods that Nintendo releases this on that 3DS Shop thing (or whatever the hell they are calling it). I'm totally going back under the covers to play this again...sans the flashlight xD

Nintendo may not be able to offer Super R.C. Pro AM on the 3DS's Virtual Gameboy.

Because of the deal between RARE and Microsoft since 2002, all RARE games are to be on the Microsoft consoles except for handheld system since Microsoft are not in the handheld market.

So there may be a slight chance that RARE might do a deal with Nintendo to put past classics on the Virtual Gameboy download system, but don't expect any games from their console days on the Virtual Console.
