I like how Drunken Master, One-Armed Master, and The Snake just show up and start fighting them. Why didn't the three masters take them on all together? When did the Doctor have time to track down and hire three master fighters? Why are they working for him, exactly. At one point, Drunken master is fighting both the good guys and the bad guys! WTF

Um, how is the little girl in the beginning speaking American Sign Language in 19th Century China? And everybody understands her. How the hell? A lot of things in this movie don't make sense. I guess that's the 80's for you.

This is a good movie that shows the flexibility of yoga. The movie has it's sad points in that the Madamis skilled, yet preaches and practiced peaxe, but is hung, tortured, and murdered unfairly and unjustly, plus the fact that the Yoga kungfu girl has the huge burden of seeing her comrades killed before her very eyes & having the burden of carrying 2 corpes across a broad countryside. The ending is super sad!

This film appeared to be set in early 19th century China, yet at the 55:29 mark, one of the villians is singing the Roberta Flack standard, "The First Time Ever I Saw Face" from her 1969 album. Then at 1:05 you get a guy wearing sunglasses, a hoodie, jeans and sneakers. Maybe he was killed for being ahead of his time.
