@bigbosspresident After the 1800s the power of the Ottoman Empire was very weak so the empire tried to strengthen itself by imitating the ways of the Western European nations. This affected the culture of the empire in every way: the army, the music, the clothings, the buildings.... everything was a imitation of the European ways.
