the fastest probe made was in 1988 the gt ran 0-60 7.3 sec and a 15.6 1/4 mile most probes were around the same times but not as the 88...the fastest GTP was a 1997 0-60 6.6 and a 14.9 1/4 mile in other words a gtp is crossing the finish line at the same time as a 1995 5.0 mustang gt they ran a 0-60 6.2 and a 14.9 1/4 mile time

I seen that video, and first off, the probe isnt stock, it had a fresh motor out of a different probe with header, full exhaust, and intake. BTW GTPs weigh 3400lbs, which is still heavy, but not as far out as you think. stock vs stock a GTP is going to win, and the driver can be comfortable and drink something while winning ;)
@PANT3N3 Stock probe gts run mid-high 15s at best... GTPs are good for mid-high 14s stock as long as the person knows how to launch. I seriously doubt that a probe with just an intake is "raping" any GTP.
not to smart with cars but whats difference between supercharged turbocharged and turbo, i have a 1993 probe gt only thing i got is exahst but looking to upgrade engine
Supercharger is driven by a belt, and is normaly attached to ur intake, turbo is driven my exhaust off ur car, and that is gonna be put right in the area where ur stock airbox would be....turbo takes a while to kick in but once u hit boost ur off and gone, superchager, u got boost right from the start, but terrible at high rpm, turbo is best for high rpm....
m62 SC's can be found on many GM 3800 series engines. They're pretty common and also are a good size for many applications. They also last for quite some time provided you maintain them. Stock boost is rather low, but that can be changed with some pulley fun.
