It's called a half seven or weak seven just like it is on the right side for righties with the 10 pin...in other words the ball had no energy into the pocket. It had basically completed its roll with nothing left...

@Bowler4Ever You dont have to throw fast to make the ball not hook, you should flatten your wrist and follow through so your pinky finger is pointing at the 7 pin, you can then throw the ball your normal speed, or even slower and still pick it up with no hook.

at 0:33 you can see it was not perfect the ball cam in really flat and weak. it wasn't even a ringing 7 pin. the best thing to do if this happens (especially twice) is to move about a half board, maybe a whole board right. you will get more carry and you wont have t make those 7's.

When I leave corner pins its usually because of a bad angle to the pocket. A half a board adjustment with the feet and keep the same shot I'll usually start carrying

The ball is lacking down lane reaction. Thats why youre leaving weak 7's. If your ball hooked a little bit harder into the pocket, the 4 pin would hit the side wall harder and snap out the 7.

well if you moved right, back, to a more aggressive ball, slowed the ball speed down, or changed hand positions, you would not have had those two pins to "slice". you also caught too much of the pin to call it slicing as well

adjust. if u leave the 7 pin like that twice in a row, adjust. and figure out another way to make that pin because its just barely making it and a lot of lanes out there are drier than that and itll take off...maybe get a plastic ball. im a righty and thats what i use for the 10 pin b/c my strike ball (black widow bite) is too strong...

Thats why i crank the ball. Power and Revolutions. I carry the weak 10 more often then not. Sometimes the head pin comes across the deck and and does the 6 pin's job. You could also move right, amp up a little and try getting the ball hit the swish zone but you run the risk of a 10 pin a 9 pin or worse like a 3-7-9 but the advantage is you actualy carry the 7 pin better of the ball hits a little bit further behind the head pin instead of slightly behind.

This video simply indicates that the bowler cannot properly adjust to carry the weak 7 pin he keeps leaving, and that he is not good at determining the correct way to convert the 7 pin, even after almost missing it. Why not move 1 board left on the first ball, and then move a board right for the 7 pin? Just a thought...
