This girl should've been able to have kept that gold medal...she was fabulous and if anything, the medicine that she was given helped her to not fel sick NOT feel 'better' than anyone else that night. Good grief

She's the rightful winner, but I only liked her on floor and vault. She was horrible at bars, and beam was basically that tucked full. After that, it was all arm waving until the dismount.

i completely agree with the information you provided. how the hell did they set the vault to low. do they realize that a gymnast could have gotten paralyzed!? that is insanne.

and i feel so bad for this talented young lady. its not her fault that her retarded doctor gave her pills and she thought they were fine. thats stinks. i would like sue the doctor, he cost her a gold medal. shame on him/her.

Fortunately nobody was paralyzed but Annika Reeder (GBR) had to withdraw because she messed up her ankle. Her vault score was a 7.274. Uggh.

Me too. Poor Annika and Andreea. The team doctor was forced to forfeit I think the 2002 games and maybe 2004 games. Not sure though.
