  • If you didn't read it for your project, I highly recommend the book "Hollywood Cartoons" by Michael Barrier, it's a great and very detailed history of the old theatrical cartoon industry from the 1910s up through the late 1960s. It's a fascinating story to read if you're really interested in the subject.

  • Hey, great job! So glad to see young 'uns like yourself digging into the wonderful old history of Hollywood cartoons; it was a different world back then, the old masters of animation like Freleng (and Chuck Jones, Tex Avery, Ub Iwerks, Bill Hanna & Joe Barbera, all the old Disney guys, etc.) were in a class by themselves and we'll not see their likes again in today's high tech, high speed world. Thanks for doing your part to keep Friz's memory alive!
