If you didn't read it for your project, I highly recommend the book "Hollywood Cartoons" by Michael Barrier, it's a great and very detailed history of the old theatrical cartoon industry from the 1910s up through the late 1960s. It's a fascinating story to read if you're really interested in the subject.
Hey, great job! So glad to see young 'uns like yourself digging into the wonderful old history of Hollywood cartoons; it was a different world back then, the old masters of animation like Freleng (and Chuck Jones, Tex Avery, Ub Iwerks, Bill Hanna & Joe Barbera, all the old Disney guys, etc.) were in a class by themselves and we'll not see their likes again in today's high tech, high speed world. Thanks for doing your part to keep Friz's memory alive!
