Ths was incredible! Whoever did the choreography for the first part of this, that person created something wonderful! It looked fabulous. And, I'm glad that Beyonce sang over the original track, could not bear to hear some other singers trying to match her on the background vocals. She is to far gone for that. Anyway, her doing the lead sounded like listening to the CD, she sounded so good! And, she dances so well, too! Could've paid to see something like this, this was so good!

And with all those things that were done on the stage it doesn't make up for a bad rendition of such a classic popular song. It just didn't have that subtle sensuality and sex appeal that Peggy Lee's version had. Most think that in order to have sensuality and sex appeal in music today you have to shed off your clothing or do some kind of distasteful sexual dance move.

Beyonce's version of "Fever" CANNOT compare to Peggy Lee's definitive version. When Peggy Lee sung this song it was sensual and sexy but it was sung with sublty and even when Lee sung that song in live performances she didn't present the song in a trashy way that Beyonce is doing.
