i live in plainfield Indiana about 20 minutes west of Indianapolis, and I do a lot of fishin in Morgan County around the Martinsville and Eminence area. Its amazing how big of cats come from such small creeks. I caught about a 20 pound blue out of Eel River last summer. Caught a lot of channels in White Lick Creek and White River too. Lot of good fishin around Indiana

id say its an albino cat, but the only thing that makes me wonder is the eyes because they aren't red or pink so thats the only thing that makes me wonder if it really is a true albino cat........nice video man!!!!

This could very well be a White Catfish (Ameiurus Catus), which can be found throughout the United States. There is one for sure way to find out. Catch it again and count the number of rays (spikes) in the anal fin. Channel catfish have 24 to 29 while White catfish have 19 to 23. I hope I helped!

its an albino channel catfish, a hell of a big one at that. most albinos are eaten by bigger fish at birth, they rarely make it past 2 or 3 inches long. it could have lived in someones fish tank and got to big so they released it. btw, great to see u released it, i would guess it to weigh 7 - 9lbs, a fish like that deserves to live on, just hope the next angler thinks the same

It's a albino channel catfish your assumption that it was a pet is probably correct since wild albinos are extremely rare, and its not a white catfish, white catfish are brown they are called white catfish because their whiskers are white.

One of the eyes was pink and it appeared to be blind in that one, but the other one was dark and it looked like it could see. We're thinking they may have been washed out of someone's pond with the floods?
