In fact, I havn't even viewed YouTube in close to a year, and I'm very surprised people are still watching this. lol

in the comming weeks there will be a 6 gig patch and there will be alot of fixin and tweakin of the classes , armour , dx10 and so on , necro will be revamped i thnk.
true that aoc and wow r different. but i enjoy playing wow over Aoc for two reasons. one aoc has almost completly no end game whatsoever unlike wow wich has the most end game of any game on the web. why do think there r so many 70's playing WOW, cause it doesint get boring. and the 3rd is so much glitches and lag. true these all can be fixed in a matter of time. plus aoc does have its ups like the pvping is amazing and graphics. so i think right now and for awhile WoW is gonna remain at the top.
Age of Conan shouldn't even be out before x-mas now.. Remember how WoW was at the start? You would never play it then. Also, WoW will die a littler after the expansion.. as TBC ruined the game, there is no way to save it with WOTLK. I know you will deny it, thats how all fan boys act. don't blame ya

Holla! Lol. Game Cam works just like fraps. The only difference is a bit lower quality but no FPS drop in game. I had MirageUI before but updating it twice a week is a real pain in the ass. I'll probably go back to it soon though.

Kind of. If you're referring to the extra pet points, then it was a boost for lower level necromancers. Higher level necromancers gained no additional pet points - they simply suffered a fairly massive DPS decrease in both their spell damage and their archmage/blood arcanist pets. So for higher level necros it was very clearly a nerf. Although they classified it as a 'buff.'
Our CC breaks almost all the time as well. I've learned to nuke and use it as an interrupt.
Also, i've been rooted for the entirety of firelance before which led to a 1 shot, on multiple occasions. I fought a HoX earlier today who feared me? Seemed short though, 3 seconds whereas ours is 5. And his fear didn't break on damage.
This video shows what Necros are capable of, but that doesn't mean we're not the most broken class in the game, which we are.

funny because my combat log showed each hit for firelance doing 700-800 dmg, non crit. this was after the "nerf" patch. and yea, i've been feared multiple times at 80 by HoX, it sure doesn't seem random to me. What level are you?
Actually, Sycotic, it deals a huge amount of damage; you just need some other class to do CC on the target. Ranger, Barbarian, Demonologist are ideal choices with roots and/or knockdowns. Fully buffed a HoX deals immense damage, but we do require better CC or to play in groups.

Why did the opponents walk away @6:08 in the video? Why arent they stil attacking you at that point? I dont own the game but see this alot. Are players just stupid or what? They both attack you then run off and come back. Whats going on? Cant they see you?
They were either trying to run away, which i prevented with a spell (unholy hands) or they were just trying to get some room between me and them in order to heal, which they accomplished. Most of the heals in this game are HoTs therefore they were probably just trying to buy time. They saw me just fine.
I believe there are a few direct heals, but VERY few. I havn't played any healing classes past 14 yet. Unholy hands slows in an area also applying a DoT. There is a chance that anyone caught in the AoE becomes rooted. If they do become rooted, the DoT also deals double damage.
i dont see how corpse detonation helped for the fights i saw, no rest for the dead would've been a good one though.
but, i'm lvl 45 necro and i still dont know half of the things he was doing on the screen, i watch his health and they would just go right back up.. besides pots and siphon unlife.. is there other ways of getting back health in battle?
i think ima be a necromancer how many pets can you have out at 1 time and how many pets u get and at wat lvl

Dispite the fact necro pets cant do damage now, I find it easier to PVP with pet spec then Nightfall.
Pet spec you basiclly snare, send pets, maybe a few dots, and run away until pets eventully kill player.
Hopefully player is dumb enough to try andk ill pets, in which case you summon more and DoT him. Effective but boreing.
Nightfall is a little more tricky because you actully need to cast crap yourself, but i find the DPS more rewarding.

Let me say a few things at this point. My spec was a heavy Reanimation/NF build.

healers do NOT need to be nerfed. just because they arnt girl scouts like in most games, does not make them OPed.
other classes need to be BOOSTED, if a healer can nuke more than a demo, then dont nerf the healer, boost the demo.

all cc has a chance to break on damage. in fact, a good amount of our cc is broken because it breaks too easily.

At least with yours it's only a chance. I play a Herald of Xotli, we have one root and it always breaks on damage, 100% guarantee.
Since we use combos this makes it very ineffective.

Corpse Detonation is a... gimic spell? It's meant for a good laugh when griefing groups, that's it.
I used No Rest for the Dead in the first 3 battles. If you're reanimation specced, it's a must along with Master of the Dead.
The pet's i'm using in the video heal me with their attacks.
