  • Boston > Vancouver

  • @BradyReviewz

Most of the people from Boston's NHL team are from the Vancouver area and around Canada. So Vancouver > Boston.

  • What a wonderful slide show - thank you for posting it

  • @zRosemarie Thank you, zRosemarie!

  • Went there. Wasted 3,000 dollars for nothing cause of weather. Just rained and rained. it's to expensive, downtown is not a entertainment spot for me

  • vancouver is the most overrated city in the world. i swear to god.

  • @conday1990

    I think Los Angeles is..

  • why live there now, Its being destroyed by RIot after the LOST LMAO

  • @KewlBoy20 its not destroyed. some generous people in vancouver cleaned up downtown and it looks like nothing happened. so stop talking about the riot. its history

  • @KewlBoy20

It's been cleaned up, so shut up. And we are very serious about our hockey.

  • i liked the first 20 seconds of the video even though it was just ambient sounds of nature it was so beautiful and peaceful, a small taste of heaven, Obrigado : )

  • vancouver time lapse is an awesome video too

  • Very nice video of Vancouver and the music is great too.

  • @yvonkcaouette LOL!! :-D

  • i actually thought BC's views were average then i went on a cruise and realised destinations like alaska dont even compare to this!

  • Imagens e músicas de muito bom gosto! Me fizeram ficar ainda com mais vontade de conhecer essa cidade maravilhosa

    Parabéns!

  • @lucasfreires100 obrigado!

  • its funny how people like to hate on amazing places because there jealous,

its not like people go around hating on north Carolina, or some other random state because there was never a conversation started about that place, it just proves how interesting Vancouver is

  • I want to live there because I heard it rains a lot.

    Is that true?

  • @burnsy96 Yes, it rains a lot.

  • I love BC, I was born here, and I can't bear the thought of moving at all. I just love this place so much, and the Olympics brought me to tears of happiness.

  • beautiful pics!

  • @descomanify cheers!

  • I left a piece of my heart in Vancouver... fell in love with British Columbia in general this past year and am convinced I will be living there within a year. Great montage... it really does capture what makes Vancouver and Victoria shine.

  • @itsmarley thanks. cheers.

  • Vancouver best place to buy cheap crack and marijuana ! i never seen so many drug atticts and homeless people like in Vancouver ! why dont you say that in you propaganda video !!

  • @Terminator4fire Because its my video, and I didn´t want to show that stuff. Most folks already know about that. It exists in almost all major cities. Vancouver is a beautiful city, when the sun is shining.

  • @Terminator4fire u burke, tell u what y not make a video about crackheads rather than the nice parts of the city u complete prat! And if you wana see drug addicts and tramps come to Birmingham, Vancouvers a beautiful city.

  • @Terminator4fire Learn to spell.

  • wow! fantastic video, I love BC

  • nice video! if you love vancouver, you might love our project :)

  • I was fortunate to be born in Vancouver and lived my first 20 years there in the 1970's...this video really, really captures the look, feel and essence of the city in that time...even though the pictures are recent. I could not have selected a better picture set myself!

  • @TheSpiritofAbba Thanks very much for the kind words.

  • Olá! Não estou em Montréal, Agora moro em Ville Québec. Muito bonita a cidade aqui. Realmente a nossa Bahia tem algo que não sabemos explicar. A saudade bate forte.

  • awesome video. vancouver's great. did you take most of these pictures youself? they're really nice.

  • @nathankroits Thanks very much. Yes, I took most of the pictures.

  • I vacationed there with friends during the summer a few years ago, and the weather when i was there was just incredible! we really got lucky, normally bad weather follows me on my vactions. It was the most beautiful place i have ever been.

  • Great job.....thanks for sharing...enjoyed . I will send to my friends and family.

  • Great job.....thanks for sharing...enjoyed and sent to my overseas friends and family>

  • @marymonalisa1 thanks very much for the kind words.

  • Vancouver BC is an amazing place. Check out the great videos on Vancouver BC dot Com if your interested in seeing more!

  • is it always so sunnt there. In all the photos I either see bue skies with white puffy clouds or just blus skies, the kikes of which we have 325 days a year in Phoenix. What an impression I'm getting off this slide show...many people I've taked to, told me that the very coudy skies persist at least 300 days a year and thay precip is mentioned in the weather forcaste on better than 265 days a year, so when were these pics taken, inbetween storms, you sleezy person you!!

  • @cafe9803 The photographer is obviously skipping all the bad stuff, bohonk! Another thing this person(s) is doing is avoiding all the not so nice things to see, making this city out as glamouras under what appears to be constantly sunny skies. He dosen't want to tell you about the damp cool conditions that prevail 10 months a year so he plays music, get what I'm saying mate. Come to the Land down under and I'll show you blue skies that Vancouver can only dream about!

  • @Ezdduf4kuZ Who wants to walk in the rain and take pics? ; )

  • @cafe9803 Those people are right. But when it´s sunny, it´s gorgeous here. And like I said to our aussie friend, who wants to walk around in the rain taking pics? : )

  • Everyone just cares about Vancouver! Don't get me wrong I love it there too but I live In B.C. and just to tell you Vancouver has the least amount of wilderness in ALL of B.C. almost and if you move up higher in B.C. you will be able to find little towns with wilderness everywhere you step! I swear I once went on a hike in Hope ( town in B.C. ) the mountains where right next to you and there was rivers, meadows, birds you name it! Wow I wrote alot

  • @Lovncookies

Do you know WHY Vancouver has the least amount of wilderness in all of BC?

It is because it's a CITY. Vancouver is the biggest city in B.C., obviously there is less wilderness here, except for Stanley Park (which is a well-known park)

  • @odangotenten

I know it's a city I'm just saying Stanley Park is not the most beautiful spot in BC or at least I think so. I'm just tired of people say how BEAUTIFUL it is there and I am also a bit jealous that spots in BC are not on the map but I know that that happens alot where places are not mentioned but I wish they where

  • Very nice. I love Canada. Living in Vancouver is one of my biggest dreams. Thanks for sharing the video. Take care.

  • This monument dosen`t symbolize the average Canadian, you know that as well as I do. almost a hundred percent of us canadians live in Southern Canada. If anything was to symbolize Canada`s roots it should be a totem pole, even a canoe I`m sure I got the people from the First Nations on my side. Eskimos represent a tiny fraction of the countrys population. There should be a law about misinforming people when it comes to our roots. Hey, I``m not at all native, okey!

  • Verry nice, but I want to know the singer and melody if is possible. Thanks

  • @swi2010 The name is listed at the end of the video: Diana Krall - "S'Wonderful" from the cd, "The Look of Love" (Verve Music Group). And James Chirillo - "When Lights Are Low" from the cd, "Sultry Serenade" (Nagel-Heyer). Cheers.

  • i look love vancouber bc canada very nice. wow.

  • ok.. i need to go there.

  • @dragongreeneye get out of your moms basement douche. broke ass prolly lives in surrey.

  • Ya uzhe govorila Katuwe, chto Vankuver i Kanada ochen krasivye i inogda napominaut kakie to goroda Europe ili USA. Dejstvitelno nravitsya smotret. V chastnosti muzuka v etom klipe vosxititelnaya i vstavka s vetrom kazhetsyaestestvennoj.Spasibo.

  • If you love nature and not very far to a major city, then come and live in metro Vancouver.

  • @VanBC10 ..Bring Rain Gear...

  • nice!

  • Beautiful music Diana and, it makes me so proud to live here

  • GORGEOUS... i love nature, i think i should come and live here

  • I love Vancouver. It's so pretty!

  • for "zachsocool16" you make it sound like the HST is an army coming into Vancouver. Eastern Canadian provinces have had that for years and they are still alive and well. Ontario also goes to hst (they are taxes in case someone wonders). Go to Europe and you see a 23% VAT

  • i will always love vancouver!

  • thats beautiful

  • I was born and raised in Van. I left 10 yrs. ago due to a bad divorce. Since then I have lived in; Toronto, Palm Springs CA, Santa Rosa CA, Irvine CA, Las Vegas, Tombstone AZ, Chile SA, London UK, and Lima Peru.....Nothing compares to VAN! I hope to move back with my family to show them what a city should be. I miss my home town!

  • @claytoons Dang you got around.

  • good weather for ducks hahaaha nah i love Van.

  • Vancouver isn't the same without Dorothy Stratten.

  • I'm moving to Vancouver nect year. I hear that Vanouver is more expensive than New York! Is this true?

  • ilive in vancouver but i like new york better

  • no not even close, Vancouver is just expensive within Canada.

  • @motomissle ya live in Vancouver, the houses are so beautiful and the city goes with that, I'm not saying New York isn't cool, no not at all, most awesome city in U.S.A with LAS VEGAS but yes it is more expensive in Vancouver

  • RainCouver! dam its been raining here for 3 weeks straight!

  • i. want. to. move. there.

  • FOR A CITY

    IT IS BEAUTIFUL!

I KNOW I LIVE HERE... THE snow has just left a sparkle of new snow all over Grouse Mountain - and you just look up form most corners in Vancouver and ENJOY!

  • im moving from the shit hole of ireland to vancouver in spring cant wait

  • Oh my God... i'm just a country girl and Ive never been out of Oregon... I've never seen an actual big city like this... Its the most beautiful thing I've ever seen... Oh my God i want to go there SO BAD O_O

  • I love this city so much best city of the world

If I can go God willing,

  • Vancouver is a very beautiful city. I was born there.

  • Nice from a distance and select shots but I've heard it's pretty shoddy down on the city streets as is common with most large cities;

  • No it's not. Most of the downtown is clean as hell. There are a few really sketchy blocks full of drug fiends but most of them are harmless. There are clean injection sites so all the drugs are really concentrated. Vancouver is an incredibly safe city (the majority of it).

  • I'm sure it's safe, compared to Philly where I am no doubt. Wife was in Vancouver last mo for a concert and the motel they stayed in was in a not so nice looking area.

  • its not safe at all

  • Zac, its safe as can be for a Major city. i've lived here for 20 yrs, and its pretty safe.

  • first of its more like a town, than a "city" I have lived here for 11 years and I guess you missed the maclenas article about its gang capital of north america and how they talk about how vancouverites are generally unwawarf of the crim in their own city

  • @Zac6230 Its really safe I know I have been living there my whole life ok

  • verrrrry safe...compared to other metro cities

  • Nop it's not, I've been there about 5 times and it has always been pretty clean.... I love it

  • only on the east side of Vancouver is it a little akward, but its the best fucking city in the world!!!

  • I guess this means I'll also be checking out "Rosetta Stone" French. ;-)

  • You can get away without learning French on the westcoast of Canada.

  • Thank you. Good to know. I'm terribly mono-lingual at this point. ;-)

  • Umm, I'd say so! I was born and raised here for 20 years and don't speak a word of french. Neither does any of my family.

  • Tempting! Very very tempting.

I hear income tax in Canada makes that of the U.S. look like a drop in a very small bucket.

Anyone know if this is true!? Exorbitant tax!?

  • Taxes in Canada are quite a bit higher than in the U.S., but that's because we are paying for many more services. Universal healthcare, for instance, although there are various others.

  • @fuzzygoddess Factor in universal healthcare, functional public schools, and social programs, and it evens itself out.

  • yes, its true, but any western country makes the US look like a drop in the bucket.

  • 13 % tax

  • You meant 12%.

  • dont forget the hst its coming

  • Love the Video ! Awesome ! I'm going to Vancovuver !

  • damn its cool..guys m plannin to study ere.. in vancu. uni.. hows daat?? good?? wat abt jobs??? is it eaasy to find?? plzz reply..thnx..

  • Relaxing video to watch. B.C. for life.

  • Brings back a lot of memories

  • 1:56 isn't that in toronto?

  • That's Harbour Centre on West Hastings Street in downtown Vancouver. You can see a full view of it at 1:52

  • thought it was the cn tower ;/

  • i like Van and i live in coquitlam but shit here is just getting to crazzzzzzy. surry and abbotsfurd have high killing rates and same with vancouver

  • i live in Vancouver and Van city has everything... you can go diving on winter!... and go snowball fight on summer!.... Vancouver is such a nice city!... and were the only city in Canada that has PALM TREES and BANANA TREES!!!!

  • what the hell are you talking about, Im born and raised in vancouver and have no idea what youre talking about. the palm trees and banana trees ive seen on baller lawns are fake, and diving in the winter? I smoke potent bc bud, but youre on sum other shit buddy.

  • get your eyes checked!... look on english bay... they have lined up palms... and they are not fake... and banana's only grow on the summer... and in my street in burnaby there everywere... by the way you do know what a palm tree looks like.. right i mean there are 100 types of palms.

  • The fuck you smoking buddy

  • why are you saying FU.. im cuz saying that Van city has those stuff

  • its nice, but montreal's better

  • i recon somebody in british columbia should let me sleep/get high in there house.. just cos im british.. lol looks beautiful over there

  • Moving there next fall from Sarasota Florida.....cant wait to get the hell out of this red neck swamp to a real city of charm...

  • i love vancouver :)

    pretty city

  • I just have one thing to say GOLIONSGO!!

  • Thats the reason why im going to Vancouver in 3 days time all the way from Singapore !!!!

  • dnt forget bc has one of the best weed XD

  • Yes one of the reasons why i chose to study and work there...hook me up? hahaha

  • aj ja som mala prilezitost a moznost vidiet tieto miesta.......Vancouver je nadherny

  • I live is B,C

  • a lot of Canadians and tourists love visiting this place but im so happy i live here lol

  • i visited this country from the uk last summer what you see i agree is very lovely but only a stone throw away from gas town and you are in drug city the worst i have ever seen [scary ] yes good and bad every where but this was such a poor part of vancouver its frightened me to death and i have traveled a lot in my 60 years down town is a place called pidgeon corner oh my god so scary i would not live there even if the rent was free apparantly bed bugs are rife

  • Thats what happens when you close mental hospitals and give the patients their own medication hoping they will take it. The downtown Eastside has been a festering lost soul waste land for years. No one knows what to do about it. New York had the same problem and they cleaned it up so we can too.

  • Vancouver was the home to Dorothy Stratten. I wonder if the people of V.C. remember her? I wonder if they even care.

  • All big cities have their ugly side (East Van) the new mayor is trying to clean it up... I was just in the area yesterday and it looked alot better than the last time I was there (I try to avoid that area at all costs). The greater Vancover area is a beautifull place to live. I love living right on the ocean... and you kind of get used to the rainy winters after a while... I kind of like them. Summer is amazing here, it gets really hot and we have some awesome beaches!!

  • i live in fucken london ontario n hopefully plan on movin out there one day, how hard is it to find a job now that this recession is going on out there?

  • Not that hard really, longshoreman is getting better

Good luck with our Free Market realestate

  • I live in Vancouver

  • Wow that first shot was from Burnaby Mountain. That is a suprise, it doesn't look like Burnaby Mountain at all.

  • that first shot is from burnaby mountain to north van. not vancouver which is a city. yay.

  • no, but it is British Columbia.

  • i was living there for 5 months and i can tell u that is a beautyful and clean city, i think vancouverties are very kind, in the summer is almost perfect, sunny days, you can find a job almost everywhere & there are a lot of beautyful places to visit, by the other hand in the winter the city becomes a little bit depressive. cos is all the opposite. im from guadalajara mexico

  • wow, you wrote this two months ago.

But now its all the oposite.

I would know, i live there.

  • UnderTheStarsAngel can you tell me about some other cities or kind of towns near to Vancouver please? It looks beautiful and nice, i would love to live there

  • And BTW why would Vancouver be considered as one of the best cities in the world? Um, maybe because we arent ignorent people like cannuckistan who are jealous of others who live in one of the BEST places in the world!

  • Exuse me?! Ya sure im frikin hott thats why i got tons of friends :P JK BUT you must have visited the complete wrong side of vancouver. People DO NOT keep to themselves in Vancouver unless you visit the rich ignorent people of which we dont have much! I have lived here for over 11 years and let me tell you, I know millions of friends who are from diffrent places that are THATS RIGHT, nice! Obviously you havent stayed there much to learn anything so i suggest you keep quiet!

  • cannukistan is wrong. You CAN and WILL get friends here. I dont know what he is talking about the wages but you can find affordable houseing and many friends but you need to find the right areas. Yes, we do have million dollar condos and i used to live in one but there are many other great places where you can get a great home and there are millions of friendly people there

  • I live there. I've been EVERYWHERE and in the pictures that u showed. Its awsome here!

  • Vancouver would be paradise but for two big problems with living there: cost of living vs. wages is totally out of whack...living standards are very poor. And I've never met people who were more full of themselves in my life!! They will not make friends with strangers there..in the six years I was there I wasn't able to have more than a handful of real friends. Those people really need to lighten up.

  • Don't forget about the hobos.

  • I never was visited CANADA, but now i wanna live in VANCOUVER

  • just so pretty

    and clean

    and just wonderful.

    Love It

  • GREAT!!!!! I LOVe CANADA!!

  • im an arab american (born and raised here) who lives in ohio. ive visited toronto before and loved it. i just got done with high school (class of 08) and was wondering if immigrating to canada was easy. this video is simply gorgeous btw

  • Coming to Canada doesn't seem to be a big deal if you have a job lined up, especially one that would be hard to fill with someone already here.

  • moving from phoenix, az to vancouver!

  • not surprised.

  • If your moving fron Phoenix, take a bus a make sure its almost empty, then drop off those Coyotes @ Hamiton Ontario and have a nice pleasant drive to Vancouver from there.

  • Dont leave France for Canada..lol...its not all roses here.

  • Yeah but i love big country and canada is wonderful and canadians are very funny

  • i want to study in Vancouver. i still waiting for ahorrate enough money.

  • AHHHHH GET ME OUT OF B.C.

  • Beautiful music, more beautiful city! I wish I could be back.

  • Beautiful Vancouver. Too bad immigration officers are so mean when you arrive at the airport. They treat visitors as a criminals, then they let you in. Once in the city..beautiful and nice people.

  • Maybe its because so many former immigrants take advantage of are liberal democracy and the beautiful country and opportunity presented to them. Its too bad those people ruin if for the good immigrants but then again maybe certain ethnic groups should be more vigilant and responsible for their communities and the way certain people conduct themselves in them.

  • There are others liberal democracy and beautiful countries, and they do not treat people that way. Iam a canadian citizen and I have seen how they treat visitors either they are chineese, hispanic, hindus etc. I have friends from different countries, but if I tell all their stories, ill never finish. Just take a look at the polish guy killed at the airport...and he was not a visitor he came as a resident. Maybe they have to be more carefull with the people working at the airport.

  • Thats one incident and it was wrong but stuff like that happens far more all over the world. No other country takes the people that Canada takes in. Far more brutal stuff is happening elsewhere. What countries are you talking about btw? England with its race riots? France with its gang rapes? Netherlands with there push to legalize child prostitution? none will allow nearly as much immigration as canada because they're already overcrowded. your lucky to be a citizen embrace and sustain it

  • i was born here

  • You are so lucky

  • thanks but i think your lucky too. I checked your channel and it said you live in France.

  • I want to leave france for Canada !! :) !

  • You want to go to Detroit pal.
