Hey Man,

great sounding Tweed Clone. Now i'm building my own 5F1 clone (head version) to drive my 2x12 Weber.

What Output Transformer did you use?

I think Eric used an R-Core power transformer but I have no idea what the output was - never even looked. My other Tweeds have Mercury Magnetics and Hammonds, both of which are readily available and excellent.

Now i'll decide about the OT to use in my 5F1 clone.

Try a Hammond, bit cheaper than MMs and go well with old Fenders. There's not much difference in sound whatever you choose, but the better quality makes are probably more reliable.
